FRISCO
Morris Claiborne leads the NFL with the lowest completion percentage against him among cornerbacks who have been targeted at least 20 times.

“I didn’t know that,” Claiborne said Friday.

Quarterbacks have thrown at Claiborne 24 times. He’s allowed only nine catches for 90 yards and no touchdowns, a 37.5 completion percentage against him, according to STATS, Inc.

49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock and Cincinnati cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick both have allowed five catches the 14 times they were targeted the first three games, allowing a 35.7 completion percentage.

“It’s just Week 4,” Claiborne said. “I’m just hoping to keep improving each and every week. Just go out and try to do my job. Just try to control my side of the field as much as I can.”

He's a big part of a defense that gives up 20ppg thru 3 weeks. That puts us at 10th in the NFL (points allowed).

3 weeks isn't a day
Very astute! Next time we shall study The number of weeks in a year.

But, dear lad, every dog has its day is not supposed to be literal:thumbup: as in one day.
Queen Elizabeth I first used it in a letter to her bro. Shakespeare rather liked it and used it in "Hamlet." You know, the brooding Dane and utterances about our mortality.
Always a pleasure to bring knowledge to the provinces. :)
How's that fragile Romo coming along?
I hear he's had it up to his clavicle with all the Dak-attack mania.

There is big change in his play and attitude. Hope it is not contract year change that sucks Jerry to pay him huge money and he reverts back to his old self.
we already have JG contract and few other contracts to carry

He was in a contract year last year. We signed him to a 1 year free agent contract this offseason. Not saying his play will not decline in the future, but over and over again people keep saying he is playing better this year because its a "contract year" while forgetting he was in a "contract year" last year as well.

Every dog has his day.
But now you have raised expectations from him and possibly jinxed Mo with your praise.
Cook up something good and go stand in the corner, Gimme! Man do you know how to pee on a good mood. ;)

That's true, if the light goes off and he finally achieved his potential, I don't mind Jerry paying what he deserves - not my money :)

cornerbacks take time to develop. It took time with Scandrick, and now Claiborne is finally getting it together. Too bad we didn't resign him for like 4 years at a reasonable price.

Yet again for those skeptical and saying "We'll see how long it lasts" - He's been doing this since last season.

Yes, he may give up a play from time to time. I doubt he'll ever become a ball hawk in terms of turnovers. He's not Revis in his prime and he's not Sherman, but he's becoming a solid corner for us. At this point, the trading up for him doesn't matter. He'll most likely get a contract and be a Cowboys player for a while longer unless his play drops dramatically.

I will say this though, I'm a bit upset we missed out on Casey Hayward and stuck with Carr.

Hayward through 3 weeks: 5 pass deflections and 3 INTs. If I remember correctly, we had some interest in him. Would have been a great addition to this secondary.
