By showing he can go up against some of the leagues best last season? What did OBJ, Julius Jones, and Brandin Cooks do against him? His worst game was against Evans last year, and I've stated before, Mo seems to struggle against those big long WRs so I worry about him going up against AJ Green who looks to be on his way for a monster year.

So, after this season, we lose Mo and Carr. Who do we replace them with? Can you show me a CB who is expected to his the market next year that you feel confident can go up against the leagues best and hold their own?

There is big change in his play and attitude. Hope it is not contract year change that sucks Jerry to pay him huge money and he reverts back to his old self.
we already have JG contract and few other contracts to carry

He also had a contract year last year.

Here is the CB contract chart.

Elite tier you have

Norman, Revis, Peterson, and Sherman. They are making 14-15 million a year. Claiborne isn't on there level, so we drop down to the next tier (I didn't include Jenkins, I think he was overpaid by the Giants)

In the next tier you have players such as Jimmy Smith, Sam Shields, Sean Smith, Talib, Flowers, and Chris Harris Jr. They are making 8-9 million. You could make the argument Claiborne is on this level, I would say Claiborne's game closely resembles Jimmy Smith's and he's making the most out of the group. But Claiborne is also injury prone, so this may move him down another tier.

This brings us to players like Amukamara, Patrick Robinson, Casey Hayward, and Tracy Porter. They are making 4-5 million. This is probably the amount people here will want Mo at, and I think Jones will throw an offer like this at him at first. Something like 5 million for 3-4 years would be a great deal.

What do I think will happen? I think it will be somewhere in the middle of first and second, probably 7 million a year and there will be people here who will hate it. But that's the CB market right now.

He's staying healthy, he got a trainer over the off-season to make him stronger, and he has more confidence and focus due to the health and strength. Good for him! I hope he keeps it up. It only benefits the Cowboys if he does.

He's a big part of a defense that gives up 20ppg thru 3 weeks. That puts us at 10th in the NFL (points allowed).

Hayward got 3y/$15.3M a year this offseason from San Diego, so $5m year.

Interestingly both came out in the same draft, both have dealt with their share of injury issues, etc

He basically said what everyone thinks. Your shtick is not clever, not funny, and annoying enough that I usually just skip over your posts.

He was in a contract year last year. We signed him to a 1 year free agent contract this offseason. Not saying his play will not decline in the future, but over and over again people keep saying he is playing better this year because its a "contract year" while forgetting he was in a "contract year" last year as well.

What he got was a second chance to cash in and probably will.
