The DET thing I understood his frustration. I was actually angrier at the complacency of Ware, Witten, etc. in their comfort in losing that game in that fashion (they'd seen it once too many times; almost used to it). But I understand for a bureaucracy to work, you can't physically intimidate your coaches, etc.

But the chest thumpin, up n down the sideline histrionics, on field trash talking; keep all of that. "Thug" behavior, but was also correct in that the coaches lost that game; "I busted my tail all game only for you sideline professors to throw it away!". I felt the same anger.

Wow, talk about seeing things differently. The chest thumpin, up n down the sideline histrionics, and on field trash talking is easily the biggest turn off in professional sports to me. I just see it as so juvenile and amateur. Ware and Witten complacent? See to me that's called professionalism.

Different strokes Jimmy. Our team has no edge. Dez is our edge. Professionalism? That starts up top brother (JJ). There is no professionalism in the organization of this team (or is to be expected from the players as a result). Wasn't JG hired bf Wade;) I think Dez was just trying to get to JJ's suite so he could phone down to JG on how to win a game, but people confused him for going after the coaches:D

Dez is what he is, love him or leave him. He'll still win you games; which only then you will support, etc.

There is a difference between intentionally hitting someone and playing the ball, ding dong. Your comparison would only work if Mo intentionally went for Dez's knees. Try and make a decent counter-argument in your lifetime, you've failed up to this point.

You don't go to the ground, ding-dong. Just like Scandrick said. Just like they ALL say in those types of drills.

Take a breath people, it's football. Yes, we avoided a potentially disastrous injury(thank God), no Claiborne wasn't trying to take out his legs. Reports are that Claiborne has looked really good in camp, and battles between Dez and our DB's will only make them better. Dez apparently talks trash to the DB's all the time, so of course they're going to go all out to guard him.

From ***BANNED-URL***:

'That play happened shortly after an emotional Bryant went down the line, repeating to each defensive back: "You can't guard me! You can't guard me! You can't guard me!"

"It was a good day," Claiborne said. "We got turnovers, we got off the field on third down, we riled Dez up, so it was a good day."

Bryant did not talk after practice. He headed to the locker room with the type of determined look on his face that's usually only seen on Sundays.

"Dez brings the best out of you," Claiborne said. "It fires you up. It puts something in your heart. It does something to you. You're either going to stand up or stand down."

After several highlight catches during camp practices, Bryant has walked in front of the nearby crowds and flashed his signature X touchdown gesture.

Claiborne says he hates it.

"It kind of makes you mad when you're the one guarding him," said Claiborne. "To go up against him and have him not throw up the X, that's a good day for me."'

Of course it matters. Perception is important.

What would be the perception if everyone walked off the field whenever they wanted and walked up and down sidelines ranting and carrying on?
Whenever they wanted? The game was over by goofball coaching. It was immature, but he did it at the end of the game, but still immature nonetheless admittedly. I could care less if more star players wanted to rant and rave on the sideline; esp Tony/Witten and Ware at the time. This team lacks leadership.

The players are obviously not learning/improving by the "leading by example" mantra we have held as the standard. Maybe someone has to speak up and be the vocal leader as well...Lee(maybe Scan) is all we have on D as an example. He's not a rah rah type, but a top 5 LB and love his play. The lack of leadership has to be picked by someone; Dez or whomever.

This is a bone head play by MO! Almost took Dez legs out! He knew Dez was breaking in that direction. Playing dumb not smart!

Love the attitude by Mo here.

Normally, I'd not recommend this, but the Star Magazine show on dc.com right now has a Mo interview that's really pretty good. It's interesting to hear more about what makes the guy tick. Some tidbits re: the inside of the DBs tape sessions and such. I think after listening to it, there's a decent chance we can sign him to a long term deal after the season if we want to.

This team is practicing like champions. I am loving this.

This time last year, everybody seemed out of sorts. We had Martin's stinger and the OL not playing all that well together, and it just sort of seemed like things weren't fitting together.

This season does feel more like 2014 ended in terms of how the team seems to be coming together. I'm not sure if that means anything at all on the field, but you do get the sense the players generally like each other. There's been so much upheaval along the DL, though, it's tough to say how well the defense is or isn't coming together.

I love the fact that the D is really giving the offense some great looks. Usually it is Witten and Dez amping up practice. This year Lee and Mo are becoming catalyst for the team too.

Iron sharpens iron and if the D is made of iron and not tin, I am waging on the former, then this season should be more in line of what we expected after the 2014 season.

thanks for the image, I cant see twitter vids either.
The way they are dressed, 1 has a hoodie, and they have several shirts, long sleeves, so is it that cold in oxnard ????

About this, just another example of reckless practice, I think players should go all out or close to it, but I think it is up to the coaches
to make sure they dont hurt each other.
just seeing the picture here, I cant really say about this, but it looks close to a disaster.
