Mollywhopped

For a couple of days now, I've had this feeling. This morning that feeling has only gotten stronger. I realize I could be wrong...should be wrong. No sane man would place a significant wager in this direction, that's for sure.

Not only do I think the six and four Dallas Cowboys will cover the spread against the nine and one Patriots; not only do I suspect the Cowboys will win; I believe the Cowboys are going to Mollywhop the Patriots...embarrass them in their own house against factually the greatest NFL coach in the history of NFL for the first time in over 14 contest at Foxboro Stadium.

And just so the wheels don't fall off on this discussion, let me quickly point out that I'm not saying this is a turning-point...though it could be. I'm not saying the Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl. Heck, I'm not even certain they'll make the playoffs. This roller-coaster ride could go in alot of different directions and speaking from long and vast experience, I do not have high hopes for the rest of the season.

But...

On this Sunday, the Cowboys will prevail and they will do so convincingly.

Dallas Cowboys - 38

Patriots - 17

That would be cool! I hope you're right. I suspect that you're not.

I believe the offense will struggle at times but somehow score 20-23 points.
However, I don't have confidence the defense will hold up at all. I believe NE will feature a heavy running game with short passes to their RBs, similar to Minnesota. They will not leave Brady back there much exposed to our pass rush.
Best case scenario, it's a dogfight and Dallas somehow speaks out a W late.

On paper that's exactly what should happen but the Patriots have one thing going for them and one thing only... They're well coached. This game will determine whether or not Jason Garrett is here next season.

Dude, that's right up there with Skinwalker ranch, alien abductions, reptilians, and End of Times predictions. If you get this right then Nostrodamus is a BUM compared to you. The Oracle at Delphi couldn't hold your jock strap!

I'm Flabbergasted! What's all this caterwauling about mollywhomping when we know there is a strong chance of being gullywashed into the netherworld

T'would be a waste of everyone's time for me to caterwaul to the contrary...o_O

How do i book mark this post, so i can come back later and laugh at it.

As I said in another thread: if we beat NE we will lose to the Bills, if we lose to NE we will beat the Bills.

I think Dallas shows up for this game like they did against Seattle in 2014. Seattle was the defending champ, were like 19-1 in their last 20 home games, and Dallas went up there and pulled off a shocker. Think playing the Patriots is going to get everyody up to give their A-game. Maybe 27-24 Dallas.

If we can’t cover RBs out of the backfield, this game is ugly the other way. TB likes deploying short passing game to Backs and, thus far, we’ve sucked royally at it (see Packers, Vikings, and even Lions as key exhibits).

especially true this matchup with Pats WRs banged up. Our LBs will be key to this win OR loss.
