I'm not concerned with what Bob has to suggest. he's still angry that there is nothing that they can do to fix that thing he calls a face.

Day 4 of week is in the books. Today I also began taking my Recovery Drink and my Performance Formula supplements with my Whey protein to get as much out of my workouts as possible. I'm sore but feeling great.

No problem.

I got my cardio workout in today. I had to switch Legs and Back today for Kenpo cause I had so much other stuff to do today but I got my workout in none the less.

After today I'm almost 2 weeks into the program. I had Kenpo X today and felt really great about the workout I got out of it today.

I started working out around the first of the year after my stupid uncle said I was getting fat. I'm glad he said it though. There's a gym in my dad's neighborhood that I go to and get in free.

I've got a pair of 40 lb weights I curl at home and I'll also lift some weights at the gym and get on the bike for 33 minutes a few times a week. I've definitely seen a difference.

Yep. It's timed. I'll set it at a resistance number and then I'll go for like 6 minutes and then it will decrease by half and I'll go another 6 minutes and then it will repeat.

There's a 5 minute cool down period. You go 28 minutes pretty hard though.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about P90x machine. Unless you're just calling the workout itself a machine but yes you could do Insanity workouts (Which are bascially really intense cardio workouts) without doing any P90x workouts depending on your level of fitness and what not.

I mean you could be 300 pounds and completely out of shape and do Insanity if you wanted to give it a shot. I personally want to be in a lot better shape before I try and tackle the cardio in Insanity cause it's extremely intense.

BraveHeartFan,

I am extremely impressed with your attitude towards this workout and the fact that you appear hell bent on doing it.

More power to you. Great job, I am extremely pleased with your dedication to improve yourself and your willingness to expose that progress to everyone.

If I weren't already hell bent just like you, I would be very inspired to be!

While I'm not doing the P90X, I keep track too. I've also been doing it for a few more months than you have. Personally, I'm down 10lbs and thats on top of the 6-10lbs of muscle I've gained. I've got at least 10lbs to go that I want to drop.

I will be watching your updates. I'm very happy that you have made the same decision that I made and are following through with it.

Good Job.

I'd go to Wal Mart and get a workout bike. They're great.

Cardio workout today. I'm mixing it up a bit today with my cardio workout and going with an Insanity workout for cardio instead of the P90x plyo.

I got a great shoulders/arms workout with Abs as well in today. What happened to my fellow workout people? :)

Normally I've been lifting one day and cardio the next. (6 days a week). Lately I've been double timing the lifting days doing my lifting and then cardio on the same day, then only cardio the next day. Although, the lifting days, I generally only do about 3/4 the amount of cardio, but I increased the cardio amount I do on the non-lifting days.

I run, or bike for an 45-55 minutes on cardio days and only do about 30 minutes of cardio on lifting days.

Since I've changed to doing this, the weight actually started to drop faster. I'm down 12lbs. That doesn't include any weight I put on in muscle. Although, the weight really started to come off faster once I stopped taking protein supplements. (protein bars, etc)

I started at 204lbs, I'm 192lbs now. I hope to at least get to 185lbs maximum 175lbs minimum weight. If I get to 175lbs, I will switch to muscle gain and go back to 185lbs once I've trimmed all the fat off.

Haven't bothered to update this for a couple days. I got my Thursday workout in but I missed Fridays. I'm going to do Legs and Back w/Abs (fridays workout) on Saturday and then double up on Sunday with my Kenpo X on Sunday morning and my X-Stretch workout on Sunday evening to finish out week 3 of month one. I'm feeling a lot better. I haven't checked the scale to see if it's producing numbers yet in the weight loss area (i only check the scale 1 time a month. Scale watching will destroy your effort.) but I certainly feel a lot better thus far.
