You gotta realize RF, we've had these T-day games for years and years. One of the 1st things we do when the schedule comes out is see what those 3 games will be because we know how rough that stretch can be.

Everyone keeps on stating that Gibbs is always crying and whining, and I really think you all have it wrong. Being a Skins fan for quite sometime, I have learned to dig through Gibbs words, to what he is actually saying. Only reason Gibbs is saying he "doesnt ever like schedules" is bc he is mentioning the quality of the entire league and NFL. He is saying the the Viks are not something he is looking forward to, bc he is saying that they are a good team. Gibbs will never say that an opponent is easy, or a game is easier than another. That is why it seems like Gibbs is always complaining, when in fact he is just giving the other team some praise, even if he may know the Skins are going to destroy them. Gibbs is a guy of character, that is why he is so nice and complimenting, and other fans see this as crying and complaining. Gibbs was also like this in his previous rein at DC, even as we won Super Bowls. Its like your good friend, that isnt always clear when he talks, but you know him so well you understand what he is trying to say, even though others might not. It is that case with Gibbs, if you listen to alot of the stuff he says, put it into context, and one can see what he is actually saying. JG isnt a whiny *****, I am sorry. Instead he is a VERY classy guy, that has respect for EVERYONE in the league, and bc he comes off and so complimentive and nice, ppl think hes a wimp. I guess its that thing how nice guys are always treated and viewed like ****. You guys can keep on thinking that, but next time you think Gibbs is *****in, just try to understand what he is actually trying to say.

This is the same coach that everytime a play doesn't go his way he sends a tape to the NFL office but I'm sure he includes the plays that have benefitted his team also

He has a Coach's show on the local sportstalk station, and he didn't think the hosts kissed his withered old butt enough so he cried about that too and had them replaced by some low-level flunky who won't ask him any tough questions.

man i totally agree. i grew up in the DC/metro area and all people do there is kiss his rear end and act like he is the second coming of Christ. i got a newsflash for the Commanders fans.....GIBBS WILL NOT WIN YOU ANOTHER SUPER BOWL. YOU HAVE A TEAM FULL OF MOPES AND WHINERS.

How is he whiny, couldnt that all just be him giving respect to EVERYONE else, rather than whining??? Sometimes you have to look deeper into stuff to understand its real meaning. Almost all of the arguments in this thread dont really have any backing....its just like heyyy Gibbs is *****...haha.....if you look at any of his statements you can clearly see that they are not intended to come out like that at all, if you look at through the bias lense of a Cowboys fan, then of course it seems like that.

I don't really have time to catalogue them all but I did mention him canning Pollin and Czaban from his coach's show. There was also the hissy-fit he threw last year before the San Francisco game because he didn't like the way the press was reporting on the game. He's always complaining about calls that don't go his way.

I remember him dissembling about Clinton Portis carries during his first season... about Lavar last year... about Ramsey continuously.

I'm sure as a R*dsk*ns fan you're oblivious to his whininess, but as an objective listener myself it's impossible for me to listen to him talk without hearing the phoniness in his voice.

But I promise... from here on out, everytime I hear him whine or lie here in the local press, I'll record it for posterity in a thread here.

It's becoming more apparent that this guy has lost any class he once had.

OMG!!! He is just giving teams their respect. What if he would have said that he loved the schedule and wasn't scared of coming to Dallas on a short week. Then what. It would have been disrespect. He could have thrown it in your faces a grip of time. How we came from behind last time on MNF! How we stomped on you guys at FedEx! How Roy Williams needs to learn how to cover! But he didn't, instead he gives you guys the respect you deserve by saying your team is tough and helped yourselves in the offseason.
