How has Stanley been doing in TC? I haven't read that much about his progress or non progress.

I see that some have predicted he will make the team, some pc, and some not making the final cut at all.

I do remember the phone call he received from Parcells on Draft Day and how excited he was. lol

I've read his play has been mediocre. At this point, it seems he will make the roster based on the shear fact that he is one of only 3 DT physically built to play the 0 gap consistently.

Not that I'm happy about all this, but we knew that this position would be weak as soon as we released Glover (something that still beffudles me).

me as well.....

I hope Stanley can improve his play.....we can only hope.

He needs a full year in an NFL program to get the strength to play the position. Bill being aware of that since the draft, he'll likely make the roster.

NT in the NFL is not a position one steps into as a rook. I hope you are correct about him making the roster.

From what I've seen in camp, Pepper Johnson is way ahead of him. Montavious has not stood out at all.

You'd think I've had something to drink tonight (;)) with all the typos in the previous post.

I was impressed with Pepper Johnson last season.

Stanley has not done much in TC. Parcells put him on the 2nd team today ahead of Pepper for the first time and the offense blew major holes in the middle of the line when he was in there. It wasn't pretty. My opinion: he needs to pick up his play if he wants to see the 53-man roster.

it's pretty simple. we saved like 5-7 million by cutting Glover. Stanley is gonna make the team and I think he will be a good player one day. He will definitely help the team this year, and I like him as a player.

Good question my friend....

but we all kind of thought he would need a extra year coming back from his pectoral tear...

that he is able to even look mediocre without being able to build back strength gives me great hope for the kid..:D

Yea....from what I read.....the front office seems to be overall disappointed
