Moore or McCarthy

Moore!

Would you decline a head coaching position at the last minute with your alma mater and sign a three year extension to just remain a play caller?

Just read between the lines and it’s obvious.
A wink-eyed move was made long ago.

I just don’t think Kellen Moore has the Inside scoop. What does that mean. The contacts. Knowing all the upcoming coaches in all Positions throughout the league. That’s just one more thing that made Jimmy so great. You have to put a squad together. McCarthy has the contacts. What do you like your style or not. There’s so much more that goes into it. Kellens just not mature enough ready enough. And I mean Buy Mature,he’s just not seasoned . That’s why these coaches coming out of college don’t make it right away. If at all. You have to be part of the club. They’re not gonna give you inside information of who to draft who not to draft. Sure you can call an Offensive game plan. Which I think it sells. Head coach know

The end of the 2023 season will be a tipping point for this franchise.

Jerry will be in his 80's. Dak will be nearing the end of his current deal and will be looking at another bite of the apple. The o-line will be aging. Who knows how much Zeke will have left even if he is on the team.

These young defenders like Diggs and Parsons will need to get paid.

What's going to happen? Depends on how much success they have between now and then. And if Kellen is still here. I think Jerry will keep him in Dallas at least until then. That's when franchise changing decisions will need to be made
That’s life in the NFL. That’s why you have a draft. You keep replenishing. We are one of the youngest teams in the league. Can we finish this before you think about 10 years from now

As much as I like Moore, people make it sound like Dak and a quality collection of talent on offense are just going to fall apart after he's gone. lol I hope he stays awhile. He's young and has lots of time to become a HC. I just don't see how jumping into it will help him? As a HC he's wearing many hats. Makes no sense at this point. Then we can play that game like no one is responsible. HC/OC vs the DC with no accountability whatsoever. People aren't tired of a setup that has been a complete nightmare here? Ready to jump right back into that? Unreal.

And I know everyone wants to compare the situation to Sean Payton. But he had 18 years on his resume before becoming a HC.
And he even he’s made Mistakes throughout his career

This is the toughest franchise in the NFL to want to be a head coach. How many are going to put their reputation on the line without having total control. I can go on and on but I think most get it

I was not a fan of Mike McCarthy at all. I was disgusted when we hired him. I think he has so much up his sleeve we just don’t know about. He’s a lot smarter. Then we’re giving him credit for. He knows exactly what he’s doing during that two minute drill. Make no mistake about that. Everyone thought he pulled digs just because. I could give so many more examples. I’m actually impressed with the not knowing what’s coming

He did and regretted it, I don't see him making the same mistake twice. I do think Jerry will do all he can to sweeten the pot to keep Moore here but should this team win a championship under McCarthy I don't think he would let him walk
I’m curious Who he fired. It wasn’t Jimmy. And I’m not sure who you’re talking about

I think you should go back and refresh your memory on the Jimmy deal.

McCarthy isn't Jimmy and would have to get into a fight with Jerry for that too happen. Without the fight, no way is Jerry going to fire a HC that finally makes the superbowl
I must’ve missed something. Because Jerry didn’t fire Jimmy . I thought it was a mutual walk away

Do tell… what proof do you have that Moore is "terrible for head coach?"
I don’t think he has the contacts. But that doesn’t mean he’s terrible. It’s just that it’s a lot more than just calling offensive plays

Jerry has fired two successful coaches. Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson.

You're not a real fan if you had to ask that.
Not going to count Tom Landry. And he didn’t fire Jimmy. Jimmy walked away it was a mutual by. Tom was Released, before Jerry bought the team. Jerry just said I’ll handle it Jerry hurts Jimmy’s feelings. By saying anyone coach the team. You’re not a fan for not knowing that

It wasn't mutual. It was a you quit or you're fired deal. So they "mutual agreed" to part ways. If you buy that then I have a bridge to sell ya.

P.S. Landry DOES count.

Do you think, if pressed, to keep one or the other - will Jerry terminate McCarthy to keep Kellen and make him HC or let him go and keep McCarthy?
No way Jerry fires McCarthy to make Kellen head coach unless he’s really desperate. Moore is not ready to be a head coach. He has zero experience, not in the NFL, not in college, not even HS. He is still growing as a coordinator. Becoming a head coach now could be disastrous for him and us.

First, he has coached nowhere but here….he doesn’t have the connections to put together a staff. He needs more experience and more interview experience.

Personally, I’d be more concerned about losing Quinn at this point. McCarthy and probably a dozen or more guys could take this offense and run with it due to the abundance of riches.

How long have we been searching for a coordinator on the other side, like Quinn, who can get so much out of so little and seemingly know the types of players needed?

I also want a proven head coach who can bring it all together, having done it before. This is too talented a team on the rise to put it in the hands of another first time coach, letting him learn as he goes.

Yes mutually agree. It’s not firing. And Tom was going to be released by tex. Landry was never fired don’t even use the word
