Mo is to small and frail to play S. When I was in Oxnard I was surprised at how much bigger Moore was than the other corners - he looks like a safety

Moore is 5-10 202 claiborne is 5'11 195 do pretty much the same size

I would just like to see Moore on the field more (no pun intended) in some capacity. I feel like every time he's put into a game, he has made plays. And not just for us. Check out his days with the Pats. I believe he has made key plays in some important games (including playoffs).

According to Wikipedia:

On November 13, 2011, Moore made his NFL debut against the New York Jets, starting every snap at safety for the New England Patriots.

Interesting...

I agree.

Obviously we cannot dictate what happens with personnel but I just want to see him get playing time he is earning. My only concern with Moore is his ability to stay healthy but I believe he can play a role in Marinelli's defense.

This is my thinking as well. He seems to make things happen on the field, and I would like to see him get some more opportunities.

Corner or Safety, I'm just thankful we kept him, and he offers an alternative to Heath who seems to be better on special teams.

Also, Moore has been my #2 corner in Madden 25 now for like 6 seasons with an 80+ rating. So obviously he's good ;)

Says 5"10" one 192 at combine. Bigger than I thought. I still don't see it.
It's a move that doesn't happen very often. I would like to see him on the field more.

Sterling Moore 5'9-5/8", 192, 4.54 forty

J.J. needs to get better on his coverage this year and I think he will but I definitely would like to see Carr or Moore on guys like Graham or it will be ugly. Carr is the biggest and most physical so he would be my first choice.

Yes but I wouldn't play him in the box that's where church is best at. I would put claiborne at single high safety hawk.

Maybe on a passing down but for every down play there is no way I would want Claiborne as my last line of defense.

I was thinking about this the other day and would like to see Moore at FS. I don't think the comparison of Moore (5'10", 200) to Claiborne (5'11 190) is the right one. I think the right comparison is to Jakar Hamilton (5'11 195).

I think its best to leave things as is and let the secondary grow with each other. There's potential there. And I think Wilcox would hurt the most by the move. Plus i've learned from the whole Alan Ball thing...let corners be corners and let safeties be safeties.

That being said, i'm sure there's some formations where they'll have their 4 best cover guys out there. They have no choice when they see teams like the Aint's who go 4 deep including their tight end.

Cornell Green, Mel Renfro, Ronnie Lott, and Charles Woodson may disagree with what you've learned.

Maranelli needs to review last year's Pats/Saints game for how to deal with Graham. He was held without a catch.
