More Cringe worthy: Zeke's 'Feed Me' or Mo's incomplete?

I don't want to come off as someone bashing the young man. His positives obviously outweigh any negatives. He looks to be continuing to learn how to be a pro and improving each week. But he's obviously still a work in progress, like any rookie usually is.

Most definitely..............he's a good kid.

Gestures?!?! Really?!?!

Its Monday morning, some of you guys must be bored, get back to work cause I bet your boss doesn't care about the gestures made by our players.

Can't believe we even care about this.

Definitely, the positives far, far outweigh the negatives.
Hands down.

Look forward to game day again win or lose because we may just have a future and we're seeing improvement, which is all I've ever asked for.

Receivers do the same thing when they catch one. It's all part of being a guy on an island with 10 cameras on you all the time. You give and you get. As long as you keep your confidence up and don't get a penalty, I don't really care what you do between plays as long as the passes get defended and the first downs get made.

I'm in agreement. As I said, I don't care for Elliott constantly doing the feed-me motion simply because I find it irritating. Being irritated by it is the least of my concerns, though, as long as he keeps giving them reasons to feed him.

How 'bout this guy?

I loved the shark as long as Gant backed it up by consistently getting downfield to make tackles on kickoffs. It also seemed to be one of those celebrations that juiced him up. Whatever legally gives our players an edge, I'm for it even if it doesn't do much for me.

The best thing about it was the shark music. I do like it when the organization gets behind these things and it becomes multimedia for the home games.

I am torn, which celebration is more cringe worthy in your estimation?

Zeke's 'Feed Me' after every first down carry, with the First Down sign on top of it or Mo's exaggerated 'Incomplete' sign after balls that sail well out of bounds or that had absolutely nothing to do with his coverage.

I gotta go with Zeke's horrible celebration but it was not as obvious as I thought.

Typically these gestures don't bother me,,, from other players, but they do from Mo and Zeke because they are seemingly born of insecurity. Both players are likely feeling the burden of proving they were worth the high first round picks used on them, so these repeated demonstrations of self-promotion seem forced. IMO.

So what kind of feed-me music can we use? Maybe "Buttered Popcorn" by The Supremes?

I'd probably prefer "Eat It" by Weird Al but since it's a parody, it would just make people think it's Jackson's "Beat It."

I think this is an age thing. When I was younger I used to love Irvin's first down signal, Gants Shark sign etc. Now I prefer players act like they have been there before.

It's easily Mo to me. It's too easy for him to injure himself doing the incomplete gesture whether it's a rotator cuff or a knee ligament. Watching Mo make that gesture to me is the equivalent of dropping a piece of fine china on the floor.

Zeke just wants to eat and I love his swag around all of that.

So, are you saying he needs a stop-feeding-me sign? Maybe he can add a head motion while doing the feed-me sign, like a baby when you're bringing food to his mouth and he doesn't want to eat it.
:lmao:

Maybe it was theTV network that kept eating the celebrations up and making us watch, instead of looking at substitutions and packages going on and off the field

Let the guy eat. If you don't undertand then....

:oldcouple:

It's harmless. Let's stop portraying people in the image you want.
