Seems like Fish believes Cowboys are about to make a move for Robert Turbin.

I guess the Seahawks always thought he was better than Michael so it makes sense.

No he is not. He may have looked to be on his way to that but a top 3 WR doesn't routinely get taken out of the game by journeymen CBs or drop a perfectly thrown ball with the game on the line. He has a lot of work to do with consistency and getting open before he is a top 3 WR.

All receivers have drops and I do not believe he would've been shut down by Moore if Romo had been in the lineup plus the guy is probably still getting completely in football shape.. If he still struggles with Romo back in the lineup.

Julio Jones and Demaryius Thomas both are in the top 10 in the NFL in drops, Julio has been very. Julian Edelman who is considered one of the Pats most consistent options leads the NFL in drops tied with Mike Evans. Dez isn't better than Antonio Brown for sure, but if you are saying he isn't top 3 based on drops and consistency .

A healthy Dez with Romo throwing to him is Top 3 along with Antonio Brown and Julio Jones. A good healthy debate can be had on the exact ordering of that Top 3, however, that's the list.

Just realized I failed to complete a few sentences there, I must be tired.

I agree entirely though, all receivers get shut out, DeAndre Hopkins and AJ Green are both considered top options as well but were just shut out on Thursday, so if Dez is not top 3, I would like to know who is and the reasoning behind that conclusion.

Remember, it took Romo/Dez 2 and a half years to get on the same page, it's silly to think Cassell and Dez can do it in 3 games.

Corey White was another miscalculation in a year of miscalculations. We had the opportunity to hold on to Sterling Moore for similar money and chose not to.

I think the Joneses are trying to be wiser with their spending (not investing too much in Murray or depth players) and are outsmarting themselves.

I guess my only question is why wait until the week AFTER you had a chance to save the pick? They didn't think he could play so but him before 6 weeks are up.

Dez is a top 3 WR in this league.

I can name 10 guys I'd take over him right now..........

Antonio Brown
Julio Jones
DeAndre Hopkins
Mike Evans
Alshon Jeffery
[URL='https://www.draftkings.com/contest/draftteam/14867986#']Amari Cooper

Sammy Watkins
A.J. Green
Demaryius Thomas

Allen Robinson

If you think Dez is a top 3 WR your fooling yourself. He is quickly turning into a franchise killing diva w/ the way he is running his mouth. Doesn't matter what he is saying.....It's how he is presenting himself that is the problem. Just shut his mouth and play ball. Some guys never got it...like T.O....Chad Johnson....And he is quickly headed down that path as well.

Some of these, I understand. But Sammy Watkins? Jeffrey? Robinson? Evans? Nope.

I think they think they think Garrett can coach them up and make them as good as other players that have more talent. I think they have been shown the error of their ways this year.

C'mon Man

Nobody but Gronk can compare with him for TDs. Dez and Romo have played together for about 30 snaps this year. This dog won't hunt.

Agreed on Dez being the unquestioned absolute best WR in the entire NFL in the redzone in terms of scoring.

Are TDs worth more in the NFL statistical WR trifecta of TDs/Yards/Receptions?

The answer to the question helps answer where Dez should be ranked.

I don't know if it's that, but I do believe they think their pro scouting department can just easily find replacements or upgrades because it had a good run with marginal players. Eventually, no matter how good your pro scouting is, you misfire. And Dallas is paying for that this year because it didn't value who it had.

Obviously, I'm not talking about Murray because I believe the Eagles overpaid, but even with him we seemed to think we could easily replace those players because of some success we've had before.

What was behind the decision to cut Corey White? With the uncertainty around Mo I would think they need the extra DB.

Nick: Sometimes it just comes down to performance. They obviously didn’t get enough from White and were probably seeing better things in practice from some of the other guys. It sounds like this Deji Olatoye was doing nice things on the practice squad and it appears he’s going to get his shot. I can’t say I wasn’t surprised by the move with White. But at this point in the season, no one should feel that safe with their spot.

David: I honestly agree with you completely. It seems like a safe bet to say Claiborne isn’t going to play this weekend, which you’d assume means all hands on deck. White has been inactive for two straight weeks, but he still showed some capability. I think that, perhaps in the middle of a seven-game losing streak, the coaching staff simply decided to churn the roster and hope for the best.

Thats a lie and you know it. The inability to make a difference is often times on the staff.. pacman, Marty B, Amendola, Dwayne Harris all say hello.

Pacman had plenty of chances and didn't play well in Dallas.
Marty B sat behind a future HoF player... and he's still not that good (seems the Giants agreed).
Dwayne Harris was just too expensive and we chose the guy (Beas) who had better chemistry with the QB.
Amendola was cut in training camp, so that was a mistake, but doesn't compare to the CMs situation.

He's now now on a practice squad when all 31 teams had a free shot at him. And that's not a lie either.

I think it was an attitude/locker room with Michael. Every time he got a play he'd mouth off something that implied he deserved more carries, etc.

Was that after Dez demanded the ball?
