So let me get this straight..............9 guys in the box, which means Dez was one-on-one with Stearling Moore the entire game and we only came away with a pair of 50+ yard field goals.

WOW..............so former Cowboy Stearling Moore went man-to-man against Dez Bryant and totally shut him down the entire game.

$70 million well spent.

yup...you noticed that too? I honestly doubt he can beat 1 on 1 coverage. Does he have the speed to beat someone over the top? No.... Quick out of his breaks? No.... Does he use his body to separate? No...Sterling Moore was inside his jersey the whole game.

I'll say it right now......that contract is another bad Jerry contract. :banghead:

And he is teetering on T.O. statues if he keeps running his mouth.....

I love Dez and glad he is here. But, I would have franchised him(stayed franchised) and signed Murray but that is water under the bridge.

Teetering on TO's status? At this point......T.O. > Dez IMO. Maybe you meant teetering on the antics thing, don't know :)

There is a great billy madison quote that would apply here. You know the one.

ok it sunk in and it means we turned a strength into a question

we were 2nd last year and 12-4
we are 9th this year and 2-7

I'll take option1

Of course common sense would take #1 over #9. But in what world is the #9 rushing attack a question mark? Definitely not the real world. And why are you bringing records into the argument? That's not what we were discussing. We are purely talking running game. Thays throwing irrelevant facts to try to make your argument better. It doesnt.

I was just quoting Nick Eatman, so if your panties are in a bunch you need to take it up with him.

You can quote eatman all you want. I'm quoting the actual NFL statistics. And we are #9 in rushing in the NFL. So again, no we are not struggling to run the ball. We may not be as good at it as last year but it obviously is still a strength

I'm surprised by that release. I actually thought it was a good move in acquiring him. He's no great player or anything but he's decent and can play multiple positions.

Michael was more of a disappointment than a surprise. I don't know how this season could have sucked more than it has. No Romo and Dez for long stretches only to return when the team is dead. Yes, we really are going to use that three headed monster at RB this year, and...we're going to gradually feature McFadden more and more as the season goes along with nothing but PS types behind him. We will make you want McFadden.

Wait. We traded for Christine Michael. He may be a way out of this. Nope. He sucks. We won't show you on the field. His practices speak for itself. Trust us. Back to McFadden.

Witten looks old. Escobar altered the Butcher stache. Terrance Williams shrinks the more you ask of him. Beasley wants to fight us on twitter. Nobody has the heart to tell Street he's wasting his time.

The talent we were banking on at DE has yet to come to fruition. Lawrence is underachieving. Gregory won't be right and able to evaluate until next year. It turns out our newly inked DT, Tyrone Crawford sucks and "Golden Cock" still collects a paycheck. I had to carefully construct and review that last sentence. Sean Lee I believe is in a medically induced coma. I can see McClain's ankle monitor under his sock. Carr is still here. Barry Church exists. Marinelli's nicknames aren't working. Will McClay's getting overruled on personnel moves (all the bad ones) and when the defense asks the TO "who can make a play?" the only one who raises his hand is Jeff Heath.

And now Romo is back. So let's win some meaningless games to avoid the one benefit of enduring all of this, a prime draft pick. We can watch this team go 7-9, maybe even 8-8 with a spirited chant of Go Cowboys!.

But the absolute worst part of all this? I started the season with 113 trophy points. Currently I have 113 trophy points. What in God's name does someone have to do to get to 114?

Epic post and so incredibly true.

You are the one trying to pimp the #9 rushing attack into some big success story. Talk about meaningless facts. DAL is closer to being 29th than 1st in rushing.

Our team leader in rushing TDs hasn't been on the team for 3 weeks, our main backup has 2 career carries........you are right......no questions at all....

Did you just say Dallas is closer to being 29th than 1st?? So 9 is closer to 29 than it is to 1??? So not only are you completely making up false bogus numbers out of your head, but you also continue to bring up irrelevant tidbits of information that have nothing to do with the fact that we still are a top 10 rushing team. lmao and on that note I will end this conversation and bid you goodnight

not this season big dog, evans made him look like a rookie.
Add to that the 2 drops and one no try on the last pass, and he is no where near elite at this point.

No, he hasn't been himself this year, save for a brief flash or two. I think it's been a bad combination of circumstances that I hope he's gotten past. Hopefully, his issues are one of many that Romo's return can help cure.

Dez is a top 3 WR in this league.

I think Dez has a little bit of that Antonio Brown thing going on right now. Brown puts up video game numbers with Roethlisberger, but he was almost non-existent with Vick throwing the football when Big Ben was out. Cassel was like Vick in that he came in with just a few weeks to get in sync with the receivers. Timing offenses need players to be completely on the same page and Dez/Cassel did not look like they were there.

yall act like he cant have a bad game like hes not going to respond with a better outing with his qb... I bet u weren't saying that last week either about dez when he was doing what he do so chill this is just not our year, it happens im just as frustrated as most cowboy fans but im also a realist don't act like yall don't understand whats going on... yall act like man nothing let me keep my mouth close.. TO status? man please to totally different personalities one is for self the other is more about the team not selfish whatsoever.... u see how this offense is without dez vs with dez, so who where u gonna get to replace him (dez) if its such a bad contract? who?

No he is not. He may have looked to be on his way to that but a top 3 WR doesn't routinely get taken out of the game by journeymen CBs or drop a perfectly thrown ball with the game on the line. He has a lot of work to do with consistency and getting open before he is a top 3 WR.
