Why is Dez always put in position to make acrobatic catches in this offense? He only had 5 targets and 3 were type of plays where he has to have super hero powers to make a play.

Dez is one of the best YAC WR yet I didn't see one slant or any crossing routes from him. And where was the back shoulder pass?

JG and his offense stops Dez from doing well more so than opposing DBs.

A player like Bryant should be featured and fed the football. Otherwise we are wasting payroll.

They should use Dez like they use Beasley . Constantly moving him around in the slot. I would like seeing more of butler which would allow them to move Dez around more.

One of the biggest misconceptions i've seen from fans and even fans in Dallas is offensive line play. People believe that if you have the best offensive line in the league that means you don't give up any sacks or holes open up all day. Not at all. You can't just have a great offensive line and just plug anyone back there or call any play. You still need others to contribute.

Garret put a stop to that immediately. Get that production out of the game and on the sidelines. That's what separates Garret from other coaches and that is what separates the Dallas Cowboys from winning franchises.

Yeah. Gotta stick to the script, no matter what's actually happening in the game.

I was surprised with our inability to run the ball yesterday. At the minimum I expected our 2014 running game where we struggle early to wear down a team late in the third and fourth quarter. I thought we would get 3-4 yards early and late in the game turn into 7-8 yard gains. We were constantly at 1-2 yards and very few 10 plus yard runs. I was really surprised.

I don't buy the notion that the Giants stuffed the line and eliminated our running game. Bull. Team tried doing this in 2014 and most of the time they were defeated or were worn down. That is why we invested so heavily in the offensive line. That advantage should not be muted by the team focuses to stop it. I agree big plays need to be made in the air...as every team needs, but still.

We knew the Giants were going to run the ball on the last possession and they were blocking our line and linebackers five yards back. We couldn't stop it. I was expecting our run game to do this to the Giants in the fourth quarter.

It is always difficult to predict how good a new unit is going to be after 1 game, but the Giants D with the new additions looks legit. The have great corners, great ends and DL and their safties look like they are going to be pretty good. The spent a lot of resources ($'s and picks) on that side of the ball and it looks like their investments may pay off.

Vernon is the only guy who I have ever seen make Smith look average, had a good game against him last year and this year.
