How are his documented accuracy issues and concerns baseless. Pro scouts all documented these issues. He wouldn't have been a 4th rounder, late comp pick at that if he had better accuracy. couldn't read more of your jibberish since the basis of your argument is 100% wrong.
Dak also inherited the most perfect offensive situation of any rookie QB in NFL history. So many fans have this tendency to compare Dak to other quarterbacks that have played far longer, acquiring experience and accomplishments not available to him.
However, on a "level playing field", where we compare all quarterback after their first two years in the league.....
Dak Prescott has the highest completion rate in NFL history (minimum 500 pass attempts):
Player Cmp%
Dak Prescott 65.23
Teddy Bridgew 64.90
Ben Roethlis 64.65
Carson Palmer 64.61
Kurt Warner 64.51
Russell Wilson 63.63
Marc Bulger 63.54
Charlie Frye 62.84
Robert Griffin 62.66
Jay Cutler 62.58
Nick Foles 62.54
Dan Marino 62.21
Jeff Garcia 61.97
Joe Flacco 61.70
Marcus Mariota 61.63
Trent Edwards 61.59
Carson Wentz 61.51
Drew Brees 60.58
Andy Dalton 60.25
Jared Goff 59.82
And Dak will get better.
How about QBR under pressure? Last time I checked, the NFL didn't make rushing the QB against the rules.
That happens when you consistently play on 3-13 roster. That would be Tony Romo. After the 2006 finish to the season and then 2007, Romo has been about as meh as it gets outside of one year and that was 2014. Other than that, failure after failure.
Quite a list. We struck gold in the 4th.

No, Dak is the only one. The haters gonna hate.some of the guys on that list walked into pretty good situations, like Warner and Rothesburger

There is an intangible with QB's with the ability to lift their team. It is not as much a dependency on the QB position as it is the desire of the team to help the QB lift them up.
That drive that Montana made to win the SB, that wasn't as much him as his ability to lift his team to help lift him up. If those guys believe, they can do some pretty impressive things.
Of all the 33 games Dak has played, the one that stands out the most to me was his lone playoff loss. They were damned near dead and buried and he helped with a critical pick when they needed a score and he brought them back to almost win that game.
There is a quality to the young man that shows up when the chips are down and that does not speak to talent as much as it does to heart. There is no quit in him and that usually transfers to a team very well. They will fight for him.
Roger wasn't Captain Comeback because of him but because of how he affected and infected his teammates. Belief is a most powerful force to lift people up.
One of the most rational and logical statements I've read on here in a while. The numbers don’t even imply such an assertion. They merely show that Dak’s situation in Dallas has enabled him to play as efficiently as the league’s best. Fortunately for Dak, his situation isn’t changing soon sans injuries.
I see what you are saying, but I think where most people disagree with you is in how much importance you are putting into the losses of Dez and Witten on how the team plays. The team simply needs 3500-3800 passing yards out of Dak to be a real threat/compliment to Zeke and the running game. In 2016 he had almost 3700 yards passing and his leading receiver was Cole Beasley who is still here. 2016 is the season that will probably most resemble the team's identity moving forward offensively, top 3 rushing team with a smart accurate quarterback that limits turnovers.I never claimed he was so good, certainly not good enough to show up on the Steelers' depth chart. The WR corps was an issue last year, and they did the bare minimum to address their lost production from the guys that are gone. That's why fans are talking about replacing that production by spreading the ball around.instead of how this receiving corps will fix the issues from last year.
They cut bait with a guy that was being paid way too much and replaced him with much cheaper guys that have a shot at offsetting his loss. That's a smart financial decision, but it does nothing to improve on what happened last year
What if they addressed Chaz Green's mediocre play by bringing in a guy that should be able to match his performance from last year - and if they're lucky possibly be a little better?
I'm guessing you want to pull all that on Dak and ignore coaching, Zeke, and O line issues huh? Then why did every single receiver have a down year last year, and why was Dallas ranked 26t h in passing?

Damn, Wentz was third best in the league under that metric with a ridiculous -8.8 (Brady at +7 is insane), but Dak doesn't look so bad compared to the league, he's certainly in the top third of the league, and better than Brees, Big Ben, and a few other well-known veteran QB's when under pressure. Mobility counts if you don't have Brady's experience.QuincyCarterEra said: ↑

Played ok with no pressure, not so well with pressure.
