I couldn't find a good video of him doing "Dream Lover"...he actually has a very good voice...but his choice of songs, well, uhmmmmmm.... :)

Yep, me and the pooch have already been out in it...off leash because there is no one around...in fact, the plows haven't even come through yet.

My pups are so disappointed that the snow is gone. Yeah, He could sing ,But I never liked anything but Dream Lover. I like some of the old stuff and Bobby Darin (and I think the lettermen did Dream Lover) I would like to hear you pick it . I don't know if it is a instrumental song..
I also like the first version and the spanish version(Moreno I think sang it) of Last Kiss. I think some metal band also redid a few years ago.

I'll mess around with it on guitar.

I love Bobby Darin's voice. It don't get no better than Mack the Knife for that genre of music. Frank Sinatra my backside.

I have to send you the new CD...it's mostly what you already have but it's all professionally mastered now...

Morning Pops and the rest of yous

Bob - I'm perfectly happy with missing the snow :laugh2:

Suppose to hit us again Sun ----I don't plan on keeping it this time --I 'll try to sent it on over. They say we might get rain depends on the storm track..As long as it waits until Sun. I need to get some hounds on the road to their new homes.

You can make a detour to Memphis and drop one off :D

The youngsters missed a lot of great singers. I was a little young in the 60's -but I ran around with my older uncle, so that kinda influenced my music preferences . Bobby Darin ,Righteous Brothers, Early Buddy Holly. Course being older then me (by a month or two) You know;)
I think it was Pearl Jam that did Last Kiss --Cochran did the original ,but it wasn't any good ..I think the Cavaliers did the good version. The spanish version by Julie Moreno (i think) is really pretty.
Any additions to the musical library is appreciated and well used. I start the other one in the morning when I turn on the computer. Have them arranged from slow and mellow-- to time to get busy.
Course it all went to H --l with the Bugs:laugh2:

If I was hauling them I would....A lady from Atlanta is picking up 3 and taking them back. And the another person is meeting her and taking two of them to North Carolina.
You would be the first to own a H Cross Aussie in Tenn. The two last week went to Delaware and N.C. Two more are going the Dallas area and one to OK and one to Kansas all this weekend. Going to cut my dog food bill in half:D

Morning Pops. Morning Yeags, Juke, Sarge, Phil, Leon, Bob and Zax.

Morning Zoners! Been a long week for me. Happy Friday to all.

Morning Leon --hows the garage coming

It's ready for painting (maybe I'll do that today?). All that's left construction wise is the metal roofing. I've ordered the metal but, unfortunately it won't be ready to pick up until the week after next. At least it's easy to install and won't take more than a couple of hours to put up.

I'm impressed ---sent a message to a couple of friends about the info you wanted --will pass it on when I hear back

Good afternoon Cbz and to all the rest. We're somewhere south of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Came in second in the mixology contest. Got free drinks out of the deal and we're all aglow with fun. Take care, all.:D

Thanks. This was a fine read....especially given that there's a foot of snow outside my window.

I don't like you.

Thanks, Bob. Much appreciated.

Juke, I received the CD and was playing it this morning. Fantastic! By the way, I like the song, "knock three times", although I did like Tony Orlando's rendition a little better.

Not that Song --He only had one good one and that was dream lover

Sir, while I commend your appreciation of the great Billy "Crash", short-sided as it might be, "Dream Lover" was far from his "one good one"!

Maybe it was the young impressionable age of (not important) I never was a big fan of any of his other songs. I liked dream lover because it was a remake of an old song.
Not arguing with you just personal taste..Of course I start my day listening to John D music so what do I know.
But it does show your age DC:laugh2:
