I was hoping that it didn't fry anything else as the smoke and the lightning show was a frighten site well I got a new power supply and am glad to say I am typing this on my computer (was using the wife's the last 2 days) though the hard drive is talking dirty to me I might need to see about transferring data over to an external hard drive and replacing the one in the machine... I invested a pretty penny in this machine about 3 years ago so sadly most of the warranty's are about gone now and I really didn't want to have to replace the machine.
so there was the good luck out of bad

I do take issue with Microsoft's commercials which tell us that we should replace our computers every four years. What other appliance would have that short of a life span? I bought an iPad after Christmas and I expect to get more than four years out of it.
Yeags, enjoy the snow. We're getting a revised forecast which will take us to around -10F sometime in the next few days. I can hardly wait.![]()
Everybody have a great day.![]()

Well, we're suppose to get ten inches of snow today, but I'll believe it when I see it quite frankly. We have lost 1/3 of the season already.
At any rate, "it could always be worse."
You folks have a great day ahead!
