Yes we could, Zax. Plus we need some good spring and summer rains. I understand a lot of the cattle were being moved to yankee :D states during the summer because of the lack of grass to graze on and because feed prices were going through the roof. Bob, can you verify this?

The weird weather continues here, with aboving freezing temps continuing during the day. I did notice a large system heading North through Texas last night. Bob, I can't vouch for the back gate. Still no snow in NY. Another record setter. It is suppose to be close to 50 degrees today. Normal is 25. Wierd, wierd, wierd.

Morning Pops, Morning friends. Yes to cattle being shipped north. Nine hours south of my home so don't know about weather. Two weeks away from home...so Yeag is in charge

Good morning, Cbz and good morning, Zoners. Yeags, are you having an "interesting" day at work? ;) Sarge, you may want to use a quad in this weather in terms of your cabin jaunts. We're getting a reminder of winter (6 degrees F) but it's supposed to warm up again in a few days. La Nina is apparently responsible. In any event, everybody have a great day.:D

Well folks you might say I had a little good luck in bad luck...before ya scratch yer head an figure that out let me tell ya the story 2 days ago my power supply on my computer went Kellogg's on me...snap, crackle and pop...

I was hoping that it didn't fry anything else as the smoke and the lightning show was a frighten site well I got a new power supply and am glad to say I am typing this on my computer (was using the wife's the last 2 days) though the hard drive is talking dirty to me I might need to see about transferring data over to an external hard drive and replacing the one in the machine... I invested a pretty penny in this machine about 3 years ago so sadly most of the warranty's are about gone now and I really didn't want to have to replace the machine.

so there was the good luck out of bad

At least hard drives are cheap. I'm glad you didn't lose the computer and all your files, etc. Even if they are just high game scores.:)
 
Good morning, Cbz and good morning guys and gal. zax, good news about the computer. I had one die on me (MB and Video Card) a few months ago, but I got over seven years out of the beast and my data was backed up.

I do take issue with Microsoft's commercials which tell us that we should replace our computers every four years. :mad: What other appliance would have that short of a life span? I bought an iPad after Christmas and I expect to get more than four years out of it.

Yeags, enjoy the snow. We're getting a revised forecast which will take us to around -10F sometime in the next few days. I can hardly wait.:rolleyes:

Well, we're suppose to get ten inches of snow today, but I'll believe it when I see it quite frankly. We have lost 1/3 of the season already.
