I'm taking a lesson today at noon. My drives and my putting has been pretty good lately, but my fairway shots have been terrible. Too many out of bounds shots to ever reach my goal. I probably should just hit my driver and then putt the rest of the way down the fairway.:

:laugh2: Good morning, Cbz and to all Zoners, old and new. I love that remake of the classic Norman Rockwell painting. As for weather, it's about -18 C or 0 F right now and we're about to get a big dump of snow starting at noon today. Yahoo

I watched the first installment of Ken Burns two part documentary "The Dust Bowl" on PBS last night and was struck by the incredibly resilient people who recounted those tough times. Perhaps we need to be thankful that they learned difficult lessons and are still speaking to us through history. I highly recommend watching. Some of you probably live near the area covered in the film.

In any event, I will be at work wle you guys are shaking your drumsticks at the TV, so i'll wish you a great day and a good launch into Thanksgiving.

I hope that all of you have something nice planned for Thanksgiving. To many Thanksgivings spent away from family over the years. Don't ever want to do that again but I do understand how that is. Pause a bit today to be thankful for all your blessings. Family, friends including those here, your church, and all that has been given to you.

We all should remember how blessed we are. When I served in Africa, there were many children and some adults who actually had no clothing at all. Clothe the naked is not a metaphor. There were many sick with malaria and more malnourished and without food.

Give thanks, have a wonderful day and Go Cowboys!
