Morning Pops. Morning Leon. Howdy crew. Nippy here this AM but no frost like last couple of nights. Got shirt sleeve warm in the afternoon yesterday. Another great fall day. Hope you all have a good day. Not too early to start with Thanksgiving preparations.

Morning Pops, Jobb, Leon, and all. A little brisk here, too, Jobb. supposed to be in the mid 60's high/ mid 50's low for the next couple of days. Snow passed to the north of us this past weekend, and to the east, into South Carolina. A taste of what's to come??? Stay safe!!

Good morning, Cbz and all Zoners. 50's and 60's are a bit brisk(?) We didn't get frost the last couple of nights, but I've got the snow tires on my wife's car. The other new vehicle is getting a set pretty quick. I always say you need to be ready for winter by Halloween. Glad top hear your getting rain where you need it, Take care, all of you.

Morning Pops and all. Slow, soaking rain started about an hour ago. Will be cold, snowy weather to the north of us later this weekend. Still color in the trees outside my window, but dark gray & brown up the mountain to Highlands/ Cashiers NC, where all the leaves are gone! It's wintertime!!! We're trusting in you keeping the gate closed as much as possible, Phil, although I believe you'll have a hard time of it this winter. In the thirteen years we've been here, I've never seen so many black walnuts, hickory nuts, and acorns on the ground. The "old timers" are saying it'll be a cold one!! Stay safe, all!

Morning Pops. Howdy gang. Ologan we had a tiny cold snap but now we are having some warm days and cool nites. A bit too cold for my bones now. Lots of mast means the deer will have a better time of it and I do think it's cooler when you see that. I'm heading south for the winter.

Morning Pops, Leon, Jobb, ABQ, Barney (if your not in Wembley already!). Hit 'em straight, Leon! Too windy today to get out, and cold! Agree with you ,Jobb, on the mast for the animals. Nature does take care of her own; Lot's of food on the ground to fatten them up for a harsh coming winter. Makes it tough on the deer hunters when the deer don't have to range too far to eat. Back in my huntin' days, I always found the venison to be a little more on the strong, slightly bitter side after the deer had gorged on acorns. Long time ago!!
BTW........GO COWBOYS!!

Good morning, Cbz and the same to all Zoners. It's starting to get cold here. It will by -5F by Monday. Tuesday is Remembrance Day (Veteran's Day for you folks) and I will be drumming in chilly weather. We'll find out how warm a kilt can be when it's really freezing outside.
