I helped pour 9 yards of cement yesterday in two locations. Kinda sore today.

Ya got that right... I usually grab my sons and tell them its time they learn how to...(fill in the blank) this time it would be lay concrete...their response is usually we know how to (fill in the blank) and than my response is good than it shouldn't take you all that long than.

Good afternoon, Cbz and to all the rest. I worked a charity Bike auction this morning for the local police and the Lion's Club. We got at it early and just finished with the event. I'm home just in time to mow the lawn. Aren't weekends great?

I could not have asked for better weather and a more peaceful couple of days.

Fish were biting, beer was cold, fire burned bright.

2 days in the Adirondacks is almost like having a week off. I hope you guys are all having a great weekned yourselves.

Good afternoon, Cbz and the same to all the rest of you. We made $1600 at the bike auction and 70 folks got new bikes. We had two bikes left that someone took for parts. I loved seeing the kids with new bikes. At least 5 of them had their bikes stolen last year. We help with bike i.d. clinics, but we still see plenty of theft.

as usual, as soon as I finish one job, I find another. Today it's trimming trees and recruiting volunteers for our Jazz festival. Sarge, I envy you. Have a great one, guys.

Had a wonderful weekend and this week, weather-wise is looking to be mid-summerlike - high eighties the whole week. That's fairly unheard of in May here - we'll take it gladly.
