Good morning, Cbz and to all Zoners who come to vent or to just feel bad. ABQ, I agree that Pops is probably laughing at us right now. While this team and each game is important to us, it pales in comparison to real life. You grumpy boys better get a cup of Joe into your system and reflect on how much fun it is just to watch those games, win or lose.

Perhaps the reason I'm so reflective is that I'm going for a bone scan this morning and am hoping for answers around my back problems. Enjoy your health while you've got it, folks,because you'll miss it when it's gone.Everybody have a great day.

after some stinking game I would come on the site early morning for me here in Europe and Pop and I would discuss the game..he usually wouldn't defend the cowboys play but would comment on my colorful use of the words or phrases....and though you may think the word Shiite is another word for crap because I had used it in the context that I did... it was not my intent as I would have said it just as I wrote it. that is why I made the #@&&$# instead of saying ****** all to hell.

It truly was meant as an honorific to CBZ40 as that is exactly as I would have talked to him. I had no idea that it fell outside of a set standard of how and why we honor him as I did not know one existed. I apologize sincerely with the full extent of my heart

Very well Zax. I understand what you are saying and ultimately, this thread belongs to all of us. I am sorry that Pops is not hear to be able to talk with early in the AM, as you did before his passing. I'm certain you miss that. I do worry that we run a risk of allowing it to deteriorate into just another thread but ultimately, it is the choice of the board. I did not mean to overstep in this regard. Do the best I can to try and live up to his example is what I personally try to do. I'm sure that all of you do as well.

Shopped till about 10:30 last night and will probably do the same tonight. Boy do I hate Xmas shopping.

Good luck on this Phil. I hope this is because you have a bone that might have a slight crack or something along these lines. I hope it is not anything more serious Phil.

Well Zax in a way trouble was from my wife...10 minutes after she left for work I get a call that starts with the famous words -- I'm ok but
She was driving sixty mph when her hood latch came loose and her hood flew up. She couldn't seen a thing and was on a two lane road. I was proud of her ,she managed to get the pickup slowed down and pulled over into the ditch without hitting anyone or thing. I changed vehicles with her and using a rope was able to pull the hood down enough to drive it home.....Was kinda of surprise to find only the hinges where bend...After call dodge ($235 for each hinge )I finally found a pair at a wreaking yard...50 dollars later and several hours work and her truck is ready to go...Very thankful nothing happened to anyone

that is awful!!! but I had the same thing happen in an audi I was driving about a billion miles an hour on the autobahn... downright thrilling if i had not been too scared to enjoy it. Tied it down also and it broke away from the hinges in the back and was waving around like a kite on a string and than broke off the line had to dodge traffic on the autobahn and pick it up and than I just stuck it in the back seat and drove home with no hood.

So I can feel for your wife as I really have been there and done that.

Good morning, Cbz and good morning to the usual suspects. My car goes in for servicing next week and I think I'll get the mechanic to check the hood.
My bone scan has happened and apparently, I still have a skeleton. don't know the results in any detail yet, but I won't let life stop for any trivial reason.

My wife has informed me that we are getting a rescue dog on Friday, so i will find out more about "Trixie" in the next couple of days.Everybody have a great day.
