FEATURED Morning Pops!

Morning Pops and a good Sunday morning to all.

Leon, yep - I spoke with a salesman yesterday for 3 hours and we never came to a deal. One thing you never really want to do is a buy car on your first visit anyways, but this one was not meant to be. He tried every trick in the book but we know what we want and we know what we want to spend and we aren't budging.

We will continue to look. Something will turn up I am sure.

You folks have a great day ahead!

Morning Pops ---Morning Leon -Morning Sarge and crew ..I know its Sun---take a bath, brush your teeth, comb your hair (now go back and wash behind your ears) and get ready for church...

Good evening, Cbz, andthe same to all here. Pops, say hello to my Father-in-Law, Don Brown, who just left us last night. He hasn't been well for the last week and his heart really began to fail him yesterday. We arrived in the afternoon at the hospital and we were able to speak with him briefly. He just said he was just so tired and went to sleep. He did not regain consciousness.

He was receiving fantastic care and was moved to a private room with a great view. I put the hockey game on the little TV they give you ( he loved hockey and football) and we stayed with him until he eventually stopped breathing a few hours later. He left us on his own terms with family around him. We should all be so lucky.

Our grief is profound, but tempered with the knowledge that he had 90+ wonderful years and died with dignity and without suffering. He had already made all of his post death arrangements and, as a result, things are happening without any hassle or issue. He never wanted any fuss and he will be laid to rest in a couple of days.

Again, I thank you folks for your kind words and extend my best to all of you. Take care, everybody. It has not been a great day, but it could have been so much worse. Here's to my Father in Law and better days ahead. :starspin:
