Friday, and today I understand why the person who coined the term TGIF, did so. Seems like this weekend has been forever coming.

I hope everybody has a short day and a long weekend, unless of course today is your day off and you work the weekends.

Leon, I'm the "Voice" of a Marching Band competition. I do it every year and it's a lot of fun. My kids were band geeks and it's fun to remain connected to the bands. The Calgary Stampede is havng it's 100th Anniversary this year and the World Championship of Marching Show Bands is in Calgary during the Stampede. As a a result, the shows from the bands will be great and our local kids in Red Deer will be bringing their "A" game. This weekend kicks off the season for the Show Bands. As you can tell. I'm pumped to be part of it.

Afternoon everyone ---I wasn't sleeping in. Weather has been nice in the mornings and mid ninetys and windy in the afternoon. So we have been working dogs and roping in the cool and loafing in the heat
