Edit: Morning, Sarge. Haha. Thought I was the only one up that regularly posts in this thread, so I got to messin' around with my post... brain not up to full speed and all. Deleted my first draft and re-posted, only to find you read and replied to the first. Shoulda known you'd be up 'n' at 'em. Par for the course from what I've seen. ;)

Always up early keeping things in order.. ;)

We have to keep an eye out on Yeags (problem child).

Pops, me and sveral others always use to chat first thing in the morning for the longest time, and as you know this thread was started in his honor and memory.

He was a great character guy and we miss him, not only in the morning, but as a friend and moderator.

Have a good one Witt. :)

Morning Cbz. Morning Witt, Sarge and Kristie. Morning everyone. Today is: So Happy It's Thursday day so everyone be happy! Remember; misery is optional, you get to choose your attitude.

I spent all day yesterday at the hospital. The wife had to have her gallbladder removed. Everything went according to plan and I get to bring her home today.

I had mine taken out a few years ago. It was a bad time to learn anesthesia makes you sick. Hopefully they were able to do it laproscopiclly (sp?) instead of having to open her up. Hope she heals quickly.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and Kristie. Morning to any who may decide to stop in.

On the downside of another week. That is always a good sign to me. Everybody, I hope you find just a few minutes to enjoy the day. Maybe do something for yourselves that make you happy.

Good morning, all. The downside of this week is the upside of the first weekend of Training Camp. Leon, my best to your wife. At this stage of life, there are no "minor" surgeries.
Zax, you only get one point for an overused pun. ;)

Everybody have a great day.:D

Morning Pops, Dudes and Dudette. Welcome to Friday. :)

Spent some time looking through the Post Pictures of Yourself and/or Family thread in the Members Zone last night. About 100 pages worth. Long thread covering a lot of years. Wow! Very enjoyable though.

Saw Leon's pic, Kristie's pics (I've also seen and enjoyed her YouTube vids)... tried to find Bob (justbob) thru his posted website address, but never could find a pic (???)... as well as having seen some of the Mods (past/present). But a lot of the hosted images are gone now.

So, if some or all of the regulars here have pics of yourselves on the boards, I'd be interested in putting more faces with member names. Post #s would be great if you can provide them. :D

Me, I'm a naturally reluctant sort when it comes to publicly putting my mug out there, but I took the plunge... Post #2430, fwiw.

Anyway, have a wonderful day everyone.

Morning Witt. Bob's picture was removed from that thread because this is a family friendly site and it was scaring the young'uns.

Morning Cbz. Morning everyone. Well, I'm going to try again to bring my wife home from the hospital. Yesterday morning she was just finishing breakfast when I got there. A few minutes later a tech came in to take her vital signs. In the middle of that her blood pressure dropped to 44/38 and she passed out. Needless to say, she didn't get to come home. It scared the crap out of me! The doc said it was caused by dehydration.

By the end of the day she was feeling pretty good and was walking the halls of the hospital. Hopefully, she comes home today. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes.

Scarier than BrAinPaiNt? LOL. I kid, I kid.

BTW, how is your wife doing as we post? How're you doing, taking care of the post-op patient? I read your posts about her. Sorry to read about the scare that took place. Okay now, I hope?

And, because I can't help being curious ('cause it struck me as pretty cool), do you still have your "hunting falcon," AFLAC, or... ?

No. That pic was taken when we lived in Hawaii. He was a domesticated duck that used to come to my house each morning to be fed. One morning I held the bread out to get him him to come up the stairs instead of throwing it on the ground. Well, he flew up to me and landed on my arm! He eventually stopped coming around. I surmised that someone had a roast duck dinner.

Hopefully, the wife comes home today. See my post above.

Morning Pops, Witt, Leon and a good Friday morning to all who stop by later.

Leon, I hope things work out today with your wife coming home. My fingers are crossed my friend. Please let us know how you make out ok?

You folks have a great day and wekend ahead! :)

Saw it, and edited my prior post to ask about her. Hope she remains on track to be able to come home today.

I got a kick out of the "hunting falcon" comment when I first saw your post w/ photo. AFLAC... if that really was his name... was classic, too. Neat story.

Hope he's still quacking somewhere... having escaped the possible roast duck dinner outcome. :D

Morning Pops, Witt, Leon and all who stop by on this beautiful starting Friday morning. Hope Mamma gets to come home today, Leon.
Enjoy the weekend......Olympics fire up tonight!
