Not even close. He conceded. I didn't even ask her to do it. She say the picture and the next thing I knew she was giving me the pic. After I posted it there were alot of uke: and at least one broken desk chair (Hos'). :laugh2:

Bob is a moderator?? I guess I'll have to bop over to the fan zone and write a congratulatory note. Congrats, Bob. You will make a very good moderator.

EDIT: I almost forgot to mention. The wife was released from the hospital. I brought her home, went to get her prescriptions filled and came back to find her catching up on all the CSI episodes the DVR recorded. Everything is returning back to normal.

Man, I saw Moderator under Bob's name early this morning and thought to myself, "I didn't know he was a Mod, when did that happen?" I then went to check for news of his addition to the staff.

Not finding any, I wrote it off as me being less attentive than I thought I was... hell, maybe just suffering from a dose of senility. Posted a time or two more and signed off until coming back on just now, only to see Sarge's announcement.

No proof I DON'T suffer from senility... just doesn't seem so in this particular case, I'm happy to report.

Now why was I typing again?.

I think I still have Pop's pea salad recipe..Will bring to the first meeting..Juke said laundry wasn't till Thurs.
And Leon and Yeag -you have a limited amount of time to clean up the yard,especially the remarks about me.

I spent a lot of time in the early mornings swapping messages with Pops about the Boys, coffee and life in general. He told me about the cancer and ask that it wasn't made public to the rest of the board.. Kinda of exchanged info with Hos until he passed. Always respected the man i never met. I hope I can bring that same spirit to the board. I have always appreciated this Pops yard thread that was started so long . The friends I have on this thread alone mean alot .
Pops , Sarge , Yeag ,Juke and all the rest of you thanks , enjoy your coffee and get out of the yard!

I try to fight the path to the dark side, but Yeag... in his best Borg Queen voice... insists, "Resistance is Futile." He-she is tryin' to assimilate me, I know it!!!

To back up his power play, I think he's using a tractor beam of some sort... oh that's right, he offered me a case of Sarge's PBR... to pull me in. The struggle continues.

But if Yeag goes hardball and offers me a keg, I may be a goner. :laugh2:
