Say what you want disappointment first two yrs, bust, gave up alot to draft him. The guy has transformed himself this yr. He's really physical. He showed it with a big TW and thenagain with a big WR from oakland. He literally stopped the guy and threw him to the ground. MO didnt even move. Of course he needs to stay healthy. But its clear this team isnt allowing any player to get back on the field until they are truly healthy.

But its refreshing to see Mo physical and not shying away from contact this yr.

I like it too. I like his swag this year. I've only seen it in camp but the guy....it felt like his first 2 years in this league...he was just going along for the ride. Sort of passive and playing his role. This year, it seems like he has a swagger about him. And playing the corner position....swagger plays a big role in playing that position. Ask Richard Sherman. I was shocked to hear it was a brawl and it started because of a BIG HIT by Claiborne. I had to watch it 3 times to make sure it was actually Claiborne lol.

Maybe we can get some real leadership on the defense now. Lee was starting to show it, but with him out, some players need to step up. I think there are a few doing that.

Did anybody notice on that play they are still using Wilber as a DE on the weakside?

Mo should be a good pro. I don't think he will ever live up to a top 10 pick, but he should be the most talented cornerback on the team by a good margin. there is no excuse for him not being a good pro. The question is can he stay healthy, play in this scheme and be a guy you can count on. It does hurt thinking of who the two picks we gave up for him could have been used on though.

Didn't he get burned twice by the Oakland receivers during practice?

The best thing that could have happened for Claiborne is Scandrick getting suspended. I honestly think Claiborne would have taken the job back had he not gotten hurt again. With Scandrick continuing to play well, and Claiborne getting hurt, it was again Scandrick's job.

Now he is healthy again and will have the job for at least 4 weeks. That can allow him a confidence boost and possibly let him keep the job. That's what we need to happen. If it does, this CB corps has the chance to be something.

Carr is what he is; he is very good if you play all press-man. Unfortunately, this D line may be so bad press-man might go out the window again.

Encouraging, yet not definitive.

He still needs to a better job in coverage from the reports I see.

Perhaps I am forgetting, but isn't this the same guy that scored an absurdly low wonderlic and stated that he didn't take it seriously ?

I would be concerned about him being seriously commited. He was interviewing for a dream job...but doesn't take it seriously ?

Good point of view of the actual hit. Idk how to post the video itself on the feed.
