It's a bad scheme fit and the guy is not physical.

I still think he'll have a nice long career as a man to man corner but in our scheme he just isn't a player.

Gets hurt every TC as well.

@nfldraftbites: Teams calling Cowboys on Morris Claiborne. Cowboys won't pick up 5th Yr Option & not a scheme fit. How about Milliner & Pick for Claiborne?

Multiple other tweets saying we're not picking up his option and if we trade him we save 2.6 million

I have a hard time believing anybody would trade for him even when healthy let alone coming off a major injury. I don't buy it.

It sucks, I would love to see what Mo could do if 100% healthy and in the right system :(

For some reason, I think that he might do well somewhere else.

Someone is going to trade for an injured player? I thought I read it doesn't sound like he'll be 100% at the start of training camp. If that's the case, teams aren't going to give anything of significance for him.

Mo is the new whipping boy for you guys. and you will be the first ones crying if he goes some where and blossoms. MO should stay here. and if he every stays healthy, he is going to be a hell of a player. i hope Jerry is smart enough not to listen to some of you people.

I have no reason to feel this way....I just feel like Morris deserves one more shot. I Just have a feeling in a make or break year he'll rise up to the occasion. But I have no reason to feel that way. I have no evidence or proof lol. I think this notion that you can just get rid of him and that he's no asset here is a bit reckless. He has a role here. And i'd much rather have him than Patmon or Sterling Moore.

I'm not sure why you have so much faith in a non-athletic, injury prone CB who doesn't fit the scheme and has displayed little instinct for the position going on four years now.

Torn patellar tendon for a torn achilles and a draft pick.

Sounds like a win to me.

Do not trade MO. cowboys will regret it if they do. this guy is a player with very good ball skills. his only problem is he has been hurt from the day that he got here. and that this team has no pass rush. i hope Jerry does not make yet another bone head decision. do not give up on Mo right now.

He's been so special thus far, I agree

I'm still screaming trade him to Chicago for Will Sutton. They still need corner help & he has no place in a 3-4 defense

Yeah, it was just injuries holding him back. That's why he lost his starting position last year... no, come to think of it he was healthy when he got demoted. Oh and he has a learning disorder. And if he isn't ADHD, I guarantee you he has something with an acronym.
