Mo does need a change in scenery. It feels like we saw one year of action throughout 4 years......we were short-changed. I really have no idea what he is capable of if he was healthy and playing man most of the time.

I compare it to a bag of chips. I am starving and tear into them, only to find out that the bag is filled with 70% air :(

Hard to imagine given the severe knee injury he suffered in Oct. But maybe we get lucky and can get a 4th rounder during the draft. Doubt it...

If teams want Claiborne then Jerry should trade him in a heartbeat.

Dallas went 12-4 without Claiborne so that shouldn't hurt them. Therefore trade him asap and hopefully Dallas can get a fourth or fifth round pick.

I think a loaf of day old wonder bread is about the right price to pay just so we don't have to deal with the contract and can move on. The man has zero confidence and never has since he entered the league and is weak on both his technique and strength and also doesn't like to tackle. Maybe two day old Wonder Bread is enough the more I think about it.

Don't be so sure of that. just because they got away with it last year. does not mean they will again. careful what you wish for.

If you can get anything for him you take it. After a patella injury he is likely damaged goods.

Yeah.

If that's legit, sign me up.

But why would the Jets want Claiborne?

Bowles had two LSU players on his defense when he coached the Cardinals. Maybe he likes LSU players. Plus Claiborne probably fits the defensive scheme.

I'm just guessing.

Do not trade MO. cowboys will regret it if they do. this guy is a player with very good ball skills. his only problem is he has been hurt from the day that he got here. and that this team has no pass rush. i hope Jerry does not make yet another bone head decision. do not give up on Mo right now.

Man please. He is SLOW!. The only successful slow corners are smart ones. Does Mo strike you as a smart player?

@nfldraftbites: Teams calling Cowboys on Morris Claiborne. Cowboys won't pick up 5th Yr Option & not a scheme fit. How about Milliner & Pick for Claiborne?

Multiple other tweets saying we're not picking up his option and if we trade him we save 2.6 million

I been trying to tell people, he's a scrub and a bum. Now we just need to get rid of his other bum brother in T-Will

I had high hopes for Mo' when he was drafted--I was very pleased even with the trade at the time.

However, I found out later about the Wonderlick test and then heard him speak during interviews and had serious reservations. He came off as either very shy or very slow. I was pulling for him but this may have ran its course.

I'd take a 7th rounder, or a bag of chips for MO. Dude is pure trash

Unless someone out there is crazy, he's still of greater value to us in his rookie deal than to others.

If healthy, despite his shortcomings and bust for what we gave up for him, he's still the 3rd best CB on the team....not even a question in my mind. Unless someone gives up a 2 or 3, I hold him and play him.

Claiborne's 2.6m is fully guaranteed. I don't see a team trading for that before they know if he will even play.
