Morris has really been lackluster when he comes in for Zeke recently

Yes, three carries is a meaningless sample size. It wouldn't matter if he had 3 yards (like Elliott) or 6 yards or 36 yards. You can't pass judgment on a player after three carries in a game.

Oh, okay, I'm right there with you.

I thought you were implying that sample size couldn't excuse Morris because Elliott didn't do well on his first three carries either.

The only question you answered was that Dan Marino couldn't keep Sammie Smith from sucking and you ended up proving my point. lol There's several more questions that you couldn't answer that caused you to run off from that thread. If you have zero use for me then stop messaging me. This is just another discussion you initiated.

Oh, so you're saying I should have taken your comparison of McFadden to a list of HOFers as serious?

Morris' first (and only) three carries = 6 yards.

Elliott's first three carries = 3 yards.

The sample size is meaningless.

lol

Morris believes these sample sizes are too big already.

Morris ran for 8 on his first carry. why not end the evaluation there? why go to three?

Take your jr high game back to that thread in the Rant Forum. Here's the post that ran you off. lol

There's no comparison to McFadden and those backs and that's exactly what I've been pointing out. lol Those backs got it done with average to bad QB situations and some didn't even have great OL's. The Cowboys drafted Zeke because they're looking for that kind of back someone that's special. McFadden is an average back and what he produced last season behind arguably the best OL in football was what any average back could have done. Now stop diverting and answer the questions. If a QB makes that big a difference to an RBs success then explain how Eric Dickerson, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Earl Campbell and Adrian Peterson had so much production and HOF careers playing with average to bad QBs? If the QB makes the RB, how did Jamal Lewis rush for 2066 yards in 2003 with Kyle Boller and Anthony Wright? Go look at the numbers those QBs put up. If the QB makes that big a difference for a RB how did Chris Johnson rush for 2006 yards with Vince Young and Kerry Collins? Both were terrible! Do you believe if McFadden started this season he would have the same numbers Zeke has so far?

Morris will always look lackluster compared to Zeke. Also Morris is a guy that performs better with an accumulation of carries. I believe this is why you see Garrett and staff leave him in there for an entire drive or 2. They're trying but Morris is not as effective in such a limited role.

Morris's true value is he is more than capable of carrying the mail effectively for an entire game if ever needed in that role.

Personally I think Morris should get more carries. I love Zeke like we all do but I don't think it could hurt to give him some rest here and there in certain situations.
