I don't think we should sell out for McFadden but then again Jerry is making those decisions in spite of the fans.

IMO, Carpenter and Spears are both going to end up in Detroit. What will it bring us is speculation but it isn't out of the realm of possibilities that Roy Williams WR will end up in Dallas. Detroit, according to the Free Press, is wanting (remember wanting) a low 2nd or high 3rd for Williams. At the Senior Bowl, talk was about Dallas wanting a 2nd and 3rd for both the likes of Carpenter and Spears but then again it was just talk. Supposedly Carpenter asked to be traded to a 4-3 team and McMillen was high on him when we drafted him, so who knows.

Also IMO, we will see some type of trade with Miami, and the bet is it will be Ferguson, Fasano and Watkins. It fits what Parcells wants in terms on leadership, defense, and offense to get players that already know the system. What that might bring is really a mystery. Parcells is on record in Miami as saying the Dorsey, nor Ryan, nor Jake Long, nor McFadden would be the 1st choice overall by Miami. That leaves either Chris Long DE or a trade of some sort.

By the way, if we tender Barber at a 1st and 3rd round picks, and Parcells signs him, why would we want to make a trade with Miami giving Barber and one of our 1st round picks. Just take Miami's picks and go to it.

This is a crazy. Would we ever seriously give up that to have to pay a number 1 overall 30 million in guaranteed signing bonus money? Much less a running back that much money.

Funny as well that everyone is reporting that Miami has no interest in picking number 1 but NOBODY wants to trade up because there is no clear cut number 1 and it is just too much $$$$. Imagine one of these characters being picked number 1. I hope Jerry doesn't let Bill off the hook and makes him spend all that $$$$$.
