Mosely: Garrett scheduled for 2nd interview with the Ravens

I deffinately feel that if Garrett were to leave that many cooridinators would poop a brick to be able to manage Romo/Owens/Witten/Barber and our O-Line. I mean that is 4 people able to make plays with their instincts. A lot of people coud make our offense work.

I mean he was able to get TO the same stats as the year before with Parcells. Garrett is deffinately someone I would love to see stay, and if I were him I dont think there would any question as to whether or not I am leaving. Id rather win and have the chemistry on offense that we have.

It would be a bit of a step back to implement another whole new offense. That would be 3 in 3 years.

Cam Cameron's offense wouldn't be much different.

Unless the Ravens have a franchise QB fall on their lap, Garrett will be fired in less than 5 years.

He succeeded here because he had a QB.

Bingo. Nobody can win with Kyle Boller, so you're looking at a project draftee or a journeyman FA. And that defense is getting old fast.

That might be too tough of a job to pass up.

As much as we might hate to lose Red, if that happens, I have no doubt that plenty of very good coaches would like a chance to work with this offense though. In fact, I can think of several coaches who wouldn't be a big step down, in my opinion.

JiMMYH!!!! JIMMYH for OC if Garret leaves!!!! ;)

If Marty Shottenheimer get's a new gig as a head coach, you can kiss Cam goodbye.

depressing..all the people hating on him today will be sorry next year.

whys that? Parcells called the the plays for the #5 ranked offense last year.

I see no reason why any offensive coordinator to be wouldn't be able to keep the team scoring. Just too much talent.

And besides, if Garrett is going to go to Baltimore, maybe hes not all that smart in the 1st place.

The backlash against Jason Garrett is exactly why he should consider each and every opportunity that comes his way. A caveat to that is that he should make sure he feels he is ready and the guy is Ivy League educated, so I am pretty sure he will think things through.

Not every Head Coaching gig is going to be stacked with 12 Pro Bowlers, 5 All Pros and a young QB with a bright future. Gawd knows that wasn't the case when both Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson were hired. The Ravens will just have to rely on their Scouting/Personnel Department and a little luck to get a Franchise or Servicable Quarterback.

Gee, kind of like our franchise has done for some many years  .

And for the life of me, I cannot figure out why some people think the Dallas Cowboys is the only good job in the NFL .

Looks like you answered your own question. Given what is available right now, what would you pick?

Wait a year or two and inherit a stocked team or jump early only to spend the 1st 5 years trying to reach Dallas' talent level.

Makes you wonder how generally dumb football people are that an Ivy League diploma is so unique and rare that it carries so much weight. I've worked with Ivy League educated people I wouldn't hire to run a car wash.

Who thinks Ernie Zampese is just waiting in wings to take over this high-powered offense?

He's going to leave cause he knows he can't win with Tony at qb. He needs a better game manger to be successful in his system i don't blame him one bit for bolting. He can win with the right qb.
