The attributes Wade praises about Hamlin are things people don't even wanna associate with him.
If you listen to Wade talk about Ken, then you'll know he'll be his guy as long as Wade is still here. Wade talks about how much range he has as an overlapping FS. He talks about how he organizes everyone back there and how he brings a calming influence to the secondary.
Ken aint going nowhere.
Huh? you mean Safety of course, well if Newman was 5'11 230lbs would he be too small? If we was 6'2 and 180lbs would he be big enough? Is it his height or weight or what? Ed Reed is 5'11 Bob Sanders is 5'8", Troy Palawhatever is 5'11".jjktkk;3250301 said:Newman is way too small(5'11") to play corner.
That I can get behind.JBell523;3250296 said:Nate Allen or Earl Thomas will do.

Mays is a SS
Earl Thomas fits the mold but is small
We should get a better DB coach regardless.Rampage;3250273 said:If they were to take Taylor Mays(i hope not) we have to get a better db coach.
I totally disagree with this. No one is holding this defense back except for this team's offense. When the offense turns the ball over or fails to score TD's or even a FG it puts tremendous pressure on the defense to hold. How many times did we get beat deep this year. Not very many times. If people are asking for a do everything safety you aren't going to get it in today's NFL. There are times when your secondary is going to get beat. There are only so many Ed Reeds and Polamalu's around. Our secondary did a pretty good job this season of not embarrassing itself.NextGenBoys;3250342 said:Please, please, please, please, PLEASE be true.
Hamlin is holding our defense back. Resign Sense at strong, cut Hamlin, and draft PLAY MAKER safety with first pick.
Honestly, I may even trade up if Berry falls out of top ten. We desperately need turnovers. A playmaking safety will do that.

Hamlin is the quarterback of a very good defense. You may have noticed that while he was out, the defense got much worse.

The answer is no and it doesn't matter what name is on the end of the question.TXCowboyVol;3250369 said:Serious question...would you trade our 1st, 2nd, and next year's 3rd to move up and draft...
