If we draft Wentz I'm going to do backflips.

Dallas doesn't act interested in Goff or Wentz but they have signed no backup and they said after the season that backup QB was the most important thing going into FA.

I hope Jerry is smarter than he looks and the Cowboys are bluffing and on draft day we pull a shocker by drafting a QB.

As someone mentioned earlier, Jerry was all in on selecting Johnny Football two years ago. That tells me all I need to know. Will they take a QB at 4? Who knows, but you're kidding yourself if you think they're not strongly considering it.

there's almost no way you can watch film of Prescott in college and project him as a starter in the NFL

true that

Same was said about Romo. UDFA for a reason. At least Prescott will get picked.

I believe Stephen is certainly more receptive to a QB this year than Jerry.

But it will take a lot of persuasion from his son, the scouts and probably the coaching staff to get Jerry to sign off on that pick.

They just need to drop Jerry off at a GH and all is good, QB selected!

I hope they do the right thing and grab a QB if Wentz or Goff are available at #4, but I honestly don't see it happening.

I disagree with Riddick on that.

He's a project but you see the feet, quick release, arm strength, and ability to buy time.

I liked him before the Senior bowl and then all of a sudden at the Senior bowl you started to hear NFL teams starting to like him. He has some tools that project to the NFL.

If a coach like Andy Reid got a hold of him he could probably turn him into a solid player.

My problem with him in Dallas is I don't like him as a short or longterm option unless he is a longterm backup.

The comparison is not even close
Romo was a terrific passer in college and had he did what he did in college at a major school he would have been a top pick

you think he has a good arm??? please watch again and compare him to Wentz or Goff.he can barely throw it to the sidelines and those passes will be picked everytime in the NFL.

I think the interest in Connor Cook is very real and you could see this team take a guy in the second or third round with the sincere belief he is their future at the position.

What if they aren't graded that high?

Depends on how much higher. If the have Bosa/ graded as the top player in the draft and Wentz/Goff graded as #20 then you have to go for Bosa. If Bosa is the top and one of those guys are #2 then you have to go for the QB imo. Great QB just gives too many advantages on the football field compared to other positions.

If the trade with the Jets rumor was true, then I see that QB is more of a likelihood in the first round. I don't hate Goff, I just think Lynch has more upside. I don't believe Wentz will be available and I also question the level of competition he's going against. I really like Ramsey the more and more I see of him. I think the Cowboys do as well, but they want a QB as well. I could see them trading down, getting another pick and taking Goff or Lynch and then getting a Karl Joseph.

I have to say, the more I watch of Dak Prescott, the more I like of him as well. But, I would think the DUI would sour us on him.

Why would a rep come out and say they will? You do realize that before the draft there's a lot of misinformation out there....

Okay I've got to give it to you, every year Jerry shows his hand but after 20 years or more of being 100% totally forthcoming to a fault, he's gonna bluff this hand.

GENIUS ...what we have here is a Message Board full of Einsteins, let the rabbits wear glasses my Brothren', it's a nothing, short sighted Holy miracle from the bowels of heaven!
