I think you could take 4/5 off the list and like 80% of America would be ok with that.

1. World Cup.
2. Cowboys games

3. Any big UFC Cards
4. Mavs games
5. Chelsea games especially Champ League.
6. Texas Tech football games.

Super Bowl
24 Hour of Le Mans
The Masters
US Open
Cowboys games

World Cup #1 by a wide margin, it's not even my favorite sport!
Then, in no particular order, any games involving the cowboys, UT football, the spurs, barça and manchester city. Not looking forward to the next round of the champions league :(

I'd say probably the top 50 events of 2014 I am most looking forward to (if we include events that already took place this calendar year) on my list would all be football related.

On a personal level.

Cowboys at Wembley (assuming I do manage to get a ticket and head south of the border)
Celtic Champions League, we'll need to go through the qualifiers again.
World Cup. Scotland not there again but I've got a vested interest in the Engerland games.
Against the principle of the Commonwealth Games but it's the only time you get a Scottish team in an athletics setting plus it's in my home town so will need to put those reservations to one side.
Always enjoy the Six Nations rugby.
Superbowl despite not liking either team

Agree with first 2 the last 3 meh.
add good ufc cards and Cowboys games and that's it for the year

Cowboys at Wembley
World Cup
First Day of the English Football League season (just before it all goes horribly wrong)

You going? Have you been to Wembley before? Was skint after Christmas when the tickets went on sale and not sure I fancy paying £170 quid for 2 tickets in the top tier behind the end zone.

Figured I'll maybe never get another chance to get to a Dallas game, though hopefully I'll get over to at least one in the States before I'm done. Cheap flight down to London and I'm going with my brother who lives in Reading anyway so can just about justify the money. Might try and go down on the Friday night and take in a football/soccer game on the Saturday as have never been to one south of the border.

I am going, have bought season tickets in club wembley. My Dad is a Raiders fan, so him my Mum & Brother are going to the Raiders game & my wife, son & I are going to the Cowboys game.

I have been to most of the Wembley games (didn't go to either game last year as we spent the money going to Dallas instead).

Haven't ever had End Zone tickets at Wembley, but to be honest all of them are decent.

If you do come down & are there early the UK Cowboys Fan Club have a party organised for the Saturday night in the No 1 Sports Bar in London. They also have something arranged in one of the local pubs (The Green Man) on the Sunday before the game.

CHeck out their website (ukcowboysfans.com) for details.

Bought the tickets about an hour after my post. Not sure yet when I'm planning to head down and when I'll be in London, will need to check with my brother as well. Cheers for the info though. Will definitely need to get to at least one of the events.

For me it goes like this...

1. World Cup
2. Olympic Hockey
3. World Cup
4. World Cup
5. World Cup

.
150. World Cup

The World Cup is the single greatest sporting event around if you ask me. It blows the Olympics out of the water by a large margin. I love hockey though, so the Winter Olympics are cool in my book. Oh, and Jamaican bobsled this year.

You'll pay $100 for garbage seats in Dallas plus $10 a beer haha. I guess £170 quid is much more than $100 but it is the ONLY game there all season.
