Most concerning stat of the game

I had a chance to look at the game again. The Cowboys could have had some sacks but Minshew threw the ball away quickly about 6 or 7 times just before the pass rush got to him. Those aren't sacks, but they are lost plays.

They were finally getting some more consistent pressure as the game went on. Both QBs probably won’t get the credit they deserve for playing through series with constant push in their face. And I get your point that it’s a meaningless stat if it’s causing the same amount of panic with the quarterback.

coaches have enough things to say and shouldn't have to remind the starting 7 year QB to stay in bounds. Its like telling a teenager to wipe his butt after he poops. Shouldn't have to be done.

The great thing about our team, is no one will throw each other under the bus for that. I think it’s on both of them. A veteran quarterback should definitely know better, the dude is paid how much to lead this team? But if Big Mac is all he puts out, him and his coaching staff should be detailed enough to remind the @#!% out of Dak on what to do in that situation, no matter how experienced. It’s deja vu on that 49ers ending last year. Someone isn’t learning their lesson.

A back-up who could start in Dallas. I’d rather have him than Dak.
Maybe you should bring that OL with him. I’ll bet Dak would have shredded our defense behind that line with those receivers.

With the amount of time on the board when the play started, he probably thought the 2 minute warning had already come before he stepped out. I could be wrong, maybe it was a brain fart. He should've slid, just to be sure, but at least he didn't get hurt or give the ball up.

Yup. This is what happens every year.

Hate to say it but sure as hell is looking like it. Offensive line getting beat up more and blocking worse. Defensive front seven completely winded. And some key starter injuries aren’t helping. San Fran will eat us alive.

As long as we're taking WRs and CBs prolifically in the first two rounds, this will not change.

I expected Dallas to win at home with Philly playing a backup QB but it's very alarming this defense gave up 34 against a backup

Minshew is no slouch as a backup. He could start for some teams. He also has the best oline in the NFL, two talented receivers and a probowl TE.

Minshew would start for all but the Bills, Chiefs, Bengals, Chargers and the Jags. He moves 10X better in the pocket than Sak does.

I actually wished we gotten him as a backup. But like everything else, Philly has beaten us to it. Minshew will find a new team where he will be a starter.

With home cookin', that last second should've ticked off.

I think there is some truth to what Micha said on Vonns show. Philly has the best
OL this year. Two #1's in WR Great running game and their defense is
legit. Philly has put together a very great team. they have done all the right things to bring an SB back to Philly. They went out in the FA and got players to help their team. When a player went down they didn't hesitate to bring in the help they didn't wait for the "Process" We have had problems the last two seasons on stopping the run WHAT did the jones do to help out? They waited till the trade deadline and got Hankins. I think that Hankins has helped but we could have brought in some other players.
AS painful as it is for me to say this Dallas just doesn't have it this year Not sure we will get it back again as long as Jerry is alive and Stephen has that I think I know more about Football than anyone else attitude.

They gave up 27 and only 14 in the 2nd half. They were gifted 7 from Dak…

I’ll take 4 turnovers over their 6 sacks anyday, and so would Philadelphia…

Philadelphia should be concerned? We hung 40 on them. We moved the ball at ease. Even with their great pass rush Dak passed for nearly 350. We ran as team for 125 plus…

San Fran is the best NFC team I would say…
