As a team it has always been the Commanders. But recently, since Buddy Ryan and the fans, the Eagles are now right up there with them. The Giants never bothered me all that much. Dislike them as a rival, yes. But not the same as the others.

However, my girlfriend for the past year, was born and raised in Philly. You wouldn't think so, because she is completely opposite of what the arrogant fans are. However she's been in the DFW area for 15 years. And is a DALLAS COWBOYS fan over the Eagles. But still roots for Philly teams, second too Dallas teams. So I came to try to appreciate the Philly teams just a little more than I use to, except the Eagles.

But she did wear an Eagles shirt under her Romo Jersey at the game last year. I told her this year, she can't do it, it jinxed them.

Given the opinions expressed in this thread from Extremeskins http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=251163 , who do you say is NOW our most heated rivals. We seem to be the least favorite team of all of our divisional oponents.

I am have only caught onto the NFL over the last five years...I know, I know, my childhood was stunted. However, I seem to have compensated by virtually obsessing about it. Given this perspective, I know I am supposed to hold a hate of the 'Skins above all else, but I perasonally hate the Eagles a LOT more. Their fans are just such terrible people as a whole. Combined with the success the Eagirls have had against us turing my relatively brief tenure, this leads to my choice.

For me it's the Eagles BY FAR. It's not even close, really, is a landslide of difference between my dislike of them and my dislike of the Giants or the Skins.

Commanders. Goes back a long time. Their owner tried to prevent Dallas from getting a franchise. When we play you can throw out the records because either can win. In the 1-15 season our only win was against the Commanders. Some of our top games have come against the Commanders.

I dislike all fans of other teams who are arrogant jerks, there just seems to be more Eagles fans who fit this description than any other team and they haven't had anything to crow about since 1960.

Eagles week I eat chicken at every meal.

Hos, you don't know the half of it. I live here and listening to these fans in person or worse yet over the radio, you'd think you were listening to Yankee fans.
I don't mind opposing teams fans displaying a little arrogance when there's something, anything to be arrogant about.
I feel like screaming in their collective faces: "when you don't have a leg to stand on, sit the phack down! Oh ya, and shut up!"

And just for the record, next time one of these mental midgets tries to pull 1960, 1949 or 1948 out of their *** to counter the empty trophy case, just drop this little nugget on them.

Their was more than one professional football league in 1948,49 and 1960. The eagles do not have claim to one legitimate undisputed professional football title.

In 1948 and 1949 the Cleveland Browns won the title of their league. Going undefeated in one of those seasons. Since they won the NFL title in 1950 when their league merged with the NFL, I'd say they have a more legit claim as football champs in 48 and 49.

In 1960 the Houston Oilers won the AFL title. I'm not saying I'm sure they were better than the 1960 eagles, but they did go on to repeat as AFL champions in 1961. I think that gives them as legit a claim as 1960 Pro-Football Champions as the eagles.

:dissskin: - Commanders are the team within our division I will always dislike the most. But, that is the era that I grew up in. I've been a Cowboys fan since 1970 and the rivalry and hate was still fresh. It's never left for me.
:disseags: - Eagles are just a small step below the Commanders because of the Bounty Bowl and all the BS their fans spew. Last year we won the Division, but nobody here or on any other forum was crowing about it. We want, demand, more from our team. Give the Eagles a Division Championship and their fans "try" and rub it in our faces like it means they're now equal to us. NOT.

At one time I would have said the Skins but that rivalry has never been the same since George Allen was the HC of the Skins. For me the Eagles and their fans are the ones I hate the most.

now that we know the definition, again let me say, The Dallas Cowboys have no rival... for no other franchise is their equal nor does this franchise attempt to emulate others but it is always on the forefront.

now if you asked me which franchise I dislike the most... I can honestly answer the one of them that isn't named Dallas Cowboys

While the Deadskins will always be the most recognized rivalry, any more it's kinda like beating up the ****** down the street. After awhile it's just not any fun....and downright pathetic.

I guess because the personalities like George Allen is not around who kept the fire burning with his distaste of the Cowboys that rivalry to me is just not the same. I grew up seeing George Allen and his comments about the Cowboys and seeing the footage of the Commanders locker room before facing the Cowboys and how he would get them into a frenzy and now I don't see that anymore. I guess I see it more with Philly and the Philly fans than I do with the Commanders
