Garrett should be fired tomorrow and Marinelli should be head coach. Heck at least fire Kiffin and make Marinelli DC.

Unfortunately, neither of these situations are probably going to happen, yet the vast majority of this forum would agree this would undoubtedly be a good move. And because of politics we are stuck with Garrett and Mr. "Bend don't Break."

You would be surprised.
But if you're curious, why don't you create a poll?

I am not afraid to say Garrett needs canned. As a matter of fact, have said that since he was hired and never wavered. He should have never gotten the job in the first place.

As for Marinelli, he would only be interim at best.

I honestly don't want a mid-season coach firing, that could potentially send our playoff hopes down the drain and put this team in turmoil. Maybe at the end of the year we could revisit the topic, but at this point and time it's a BIG NO.

I will say one thing though, Garret definitely isn't the best situational/clock management Head Coach in the league, but he sure as heck does have our players playing with heart. JMO, I'm sure some will disagree.

Titans owner K.S. "Bud" Adams died recently at the age of 90. He was a rich guy with access to the best medical care in the world, just like Jerry. It might be prudent to dig in and prepare for the possibility of a couple of more decades of the same old stuff.

Oh, by then, Stephen Jones will be an eccentric old fart himself, and he'll pick up the ball and run with it.

I am worried that Garrett may get an extension. I thought Garrett should have never been hired. My father-in-law is a 49er Fan and I wanted Harbaugh as our HC instead of Garrett. To this day, he rips me about how the 49ers made the right choice and we made the wrong choice. Just imagine what Harbaugh could have done with this team for the past few years. Garrett is "Just Another Guy" when being compared to a real HC like Harbaugh. If Jerry just picked the "RKG" then Harbaugh would be our HC right now and Garrett would currenlty be the QB Coach for a Division III College Team.

Firing Garrett now is basically torpedoing a season where we have a legitimate chance at winning the division. I know we likely won't do much once we get there but if you're in the playoffs you have a shot and I'll take that any day.
