Also, according to NBC, our game Saturday was the most-watched wild-card game in NFL history, with 26.7 million viewers.

Must have been that whole Owens-vs.-Seahawks thing, right apickmans?

That´s why the whole "media conspiracy against the cowboys" myth, is just that, a myth, if the Cowboys are good, the ratings are good, and good ratings mean more money.

Same goes for the NFL, does anybody really think they prefer a Seattle-Chicago game over Dallas-Chicago, no way.

Has anyone ever implied that the network moguls want us to lose?

No, not exactly, I was talking about fans who say ESPN hates the cowboys when in reality they love the cowboys, or for example, people who said there was some kind of conspiracy in the Seattle game.

By the way Adam, do you know if they track who the most hated NFL franchise is, I bet we are on top of that one too.

I'm sure the ESPN bigwigs love us because we make them money. But the analysts don't really care about what's good for ratings. John Clayton, for example, is an admitted Cowboys hater and Steelers fan. He's on the radio here in Seattle all of the time (he has his own show on Saturday mornings) and always gets into it with another host who is a Cowboys fan.

I've seen polls here and there (the front page at ESPN, for example).

6) Most hated pro team?

63.3% Dallas Cowboys
12.4% Washington Commanders
11.8% New York Giants
5.4% Baltimore Ravens
5.0% New York Knicks
2.0% Baltimore Orioles

Delaware hates us with a passion.

So, Dallas was the biggest draw on FOX, NBC, CBS and ESPN. I wonder how they ranked with the NFL Network. Maybe poorly since much of Texas could not view the game on cable, but I bet still near the top for the few games they showed.

Thanks Adam, you are right about Clayton, can´t stand him, I guess Cowboys haters get good ratings too.
