There's surely a big difference between our former days of practicing at St. Edward's University and the team we field today. The players and the various coaches will all be changed dramatically from those former days.
Most of the players wouldn't likely be very happy about practicing in the 100-plus-degree hot climes of today. Earth warming isn't doing us or them any favors, nowadays, in Texas. The players will be themselves, regardless of where they choose to practice.
The CBA rules about limiting practicing surely aren't very conducive to maximum benefits being seen by the players, either. I think our situation is better left as is, in the cool climes of Oxford. It seems the overall setup there is a bit more favorable to success. They have fewer distractions.
