It was funny that she had a bad attitude and didn't mind speaking her mind. She told me someone was trying to run her off. So far I haven't seen her.
She/he was a very interesting character. Many layers. Of BS.

She got me a warning point, when she was betterinpinkandblue, after knowing me well enough to know I don't take many things seriously and was just having, what I thought was fun with her. LOL, got a PM from her brother wanting to meet me in DET and kick my butt. I PM'd him that if I came to DET, I deserved to have my butt kicked

When I got the point, I found out I was breaking a rule to accuse someone of not being the gender they purport to be. Max, it was karma.

One time, a while back on a Friday night on the old old forum, I got into this 3 way discussion with these 2 guys and after a couple of hours of "discussion" told them I was an 11 year old girl and my Daddy had always wanted a boy so I knew a lot about football and my Daddy's favorite team, the Cowboys. Both of these guys changed their tone and one of them wrote "you sure know a lot about football for an 11 year old girl". Nicest damn thing anyone ever said to me over there. I agree, I know a lot about football for an 11 year old girl.
Oh man, you are funny. 11 Year girl, can you prove you aren't?

Yeah but they've got some of those long time stewing posters on here like we had. I could almost predict what one would say when their nemesis would post. Didn't do any good to be a peacemaker either, they loved doing it too much. They're like arguing married couples........without the good part, the naked making up.

One of my favorite times on there was when Jumbo lost his mind with Greg. I laughed all night about that one. Ole Jumbo was cutting loose with cussin' in caps and I had a vision of him pounding hell out of that keyboard.
That was a good time!

Oh, that's actually an old forum. It's just, no one goes there. One or two guys would hang out there and beg people to join, and crickets.
There were a couple of guys inviting people to join a new site that was "up and running, but still under construction". Does the user name Tskboy mean anything to you? I think that's part of the address too.
I checked it out, but it didn't seem to be working right.

I looked at that. It was lame as hell.

Liar. You're at least 12.
That was a few years back, I should be close to debutante by now. Which makes me legal. I was legal in Arkansas at 12 and I was careful as I didn't know if either of those gentlemen was from AR and might want to court me.

A hog went a courtin' and he did ride, M-hm, M-hm.
A hog went a courtin' and he did ride,
A hog hat and moonshine by his side, M-hm, M-hm.

This is the official wedding song of Arkansas. Booger sang it to his bride, Jean, on their wedding day and wore a hog hat to bed on the honeymoon night.

But she worked it so I was OK even getting set up. That's one thing that used to piss me off about Harris. He would start a thread and wander off and not come back for days, if at all.

I've never seen this as a rule but I've always thought if you start a thread, you have the responsibility to "maintain" it and respond to posters as long as it is still on the topic you started.

At least they offered you something. We had an admin named Lindsey, who made her presence known on DC.com, and who talked about sending us mods Cowboys attire, and possibly tickets so us mods and admins could have a get together. I think maybe Jerry got wind because the next thing we knew, Lindsey had mysteriously moved on (at least that's what they told us).
They seemed shocked I said no :)

I am sure the Cowboys look at DC.com, CowboysZone, etc. forum users as a small group of die-hard fans who are not going to stop following and supporting the Cowboys, so they really don't have to care about their opinions or complaints. They are more worried about getting new fans than they are keeping the ones they have.

I've been running a Cowboys forum for well over 15 years and not once have the Cowboys ever contacted me to do any promotions or offer me or the staff any Cowboys items or invited us to any games, tours, etc. I accepted the fact they don't care long ago and moved on. Other teams care about their fans and I have seen and read stories how teams reached out to their fan sites, fan communities, etc., but in our case, we're just a free publicity tool running the site they should have partnered with over 10 years ago.

We had no help for what 2-3 years or so - the only admin help we got was ccastillo and all she did was cause trouble and had a attitude problem, and she was there

for like 2 seconds.
The cool thing is you guys aren't pigeon held anymore and can be completely honest, transparent and talk smack. You had a HORRIBLE admin. It could have been great. We had a great group. But, they created the divide and threw the towel in. Huge mistake.

If they were smart, they'd realize that sites like this are microcosms of their whole fan base, and as a collective, what we want is what the fan base wants.....They'd be wise to pay attention.

The one bright spot was that her appearance seemed to unite much of the forum against her.
