If you look at Movies at the Theatre right now and you are a Movie Fan you realize they suck now. I always recommend movies for younger people who really enjoy some of them that were from years past .So I figure we can make a To Watch List for them.

I worked with one of the guys who played the big lug in one of the gangs in this movie. He also played Dynamo in "The Running Man". Scary big. Filled up the elevator all by himself. Wrestled in college. tried out for the Olympics I think. He was also a legitimate opera singer. He left our company after a short stint because they would not sponsor his Olympic bid. He went by the name Erland von Lidthe de Jeude back then. I think he shortened it to Erland von Lidthe.

Every millennial, gen x, gen z, and every other child in America should be forced to watch the "John Adams" mini-series a la "A Clockwork Orange" until they puke. Seriously, this was an excellent depiction of a truly great man and his love hate relationship with Thomas Jefferson. There is so much history in this show.

I also think they should watch the "Longest Day", "Bridge Over the River Kwai".

He was in the Wanderers, not the Warriors. Also was in Stir Crazy.

I suffered through The Ice Road on Netflix this week. Was so bad I had to watch it in 15-20 minute increments, but was bound and determined to finish it. Movies today are down right terrible.

With that said, a movie I would recommend is Planes, Trains and Automobiles. These younger generations need to find a sense of humor and not take everything so serious.
