Yep, they type casted him well. I liked Steve Vai as the other Guitarist in the Headcutter compatition.

He actually played both parts in the headcutter showdown.

Ry Cooder wrote many of the songs and played much of the guitar parts is an amazing musician, very underrated. He produced the Album "Buena Vista Social Club" which also became a documentary. He helped round up many legendary Cuban musicians and record and document Cuban music. The film is about the process of recording, performing and stories of these musicians. Very cool film and soundtrack for anybody that likes world, Latin, or Caribbean music.

It was especially cool that Cooder had his son join in and his appreciation of that music helped make that an outstanding music doc.

We ended up with all the solo albums of those players and it was amazing to watch the manual dexterity of 80 year old guys on guitars and piano.
