Perhaps you were blinded by your Kellen Moore hate last night......But Jones was horrendous last night @ CB giving up big play after big play. Go back and watch all of the Jets crucial plays...and you will see Jones getting worked over.

Yeah Jones was bad. I keep seeing and hearing people prop him like we walked out of the draft with the next Richard Sherman. But honestly I don't see it. He's been solid at times but most of the time he can be found being picked on and ultimately conceding plays that extend drives.

Instead of reaching for a work out warrior who jumps really, really far, maybe the Cowboys would have been better served reaching a bit and drafting a RB like Yeldon. IJS

Claiborne wasn't really that bad this year. He's not a starter, but he's a quality depth guy and can probably be brought back on the cheap.

He's a bust no doubt; your #6 pick shouldn't be a guy getting limited minutes, but it is what it is.

Give me the old man who made several All-Pro's with our DC and is playing on the best defense in the NFL for nearly vet min over the younger Mo who has to be schemed around or he's a liability, is averaging about 1 turnover every 10 games, and still can't figure out his responsibilities in man coverage on a rub route.

I'd get a SS and move Jones to FS and have him take on the elite big TE's and elite big WR's.

If we had a quality SS with Jones at FS, now we have more flexibility to play zone or man. I really don't believe any good pass defense plays almost all man or all zone. They mix it up and then can disguise coverages off of that.

That would allow the team a little more flexibility to find corners. I tend to want more zone bias corners, especially with our D-Line.

Maybe better coverage from our MIKE and that will help matters as well.

That's exactly it. Sign a SS in Free Agency and with the normal second year improvement from Jones, you will have an above average group of Safeties. Keep Church and Wilcox as backups, where they would do well playing only in spots.

With OScan coming back, resign either Claiborne or Carr depending on the contract. Either of those two will look much better when they are consistently on #2 WRs instead of #1.

Draft a CB for sure. A 2nd or 3rd round pick would be fine, but if your top pick is there with a CB like Hargreaves as the highest rated guy on your board - draft him and never look back.
