Dak had an All-Pro season and became an MVP candidate WITHOUT a functioning running game and led them to three straight 12 win seasons..... yet he still got blamed for everything.

Dak got blamed for poor performances by the defense AND special teams at times Other highly paid quarterbacks get major excuses made for them when the team falls short or is struggling.

So we're going to keep that same energy for ALL quarterbacks. If Dak is the blame for our bad play as a team, then that same logic will be applied to ALL quarterbacks.
You Dak stanleys are something else. When you continue to get punked by one team (as Dak has against the 49ers) and you are a perennial no-show in the playoffs, you don't get the same reprieve as QBs who have been to Super Bowls and Conference Championship games. So no, we're not keeping "the same energy" for all quarterbacks because the accomplishments for all quarterbacks are not equal. Dak has been in the league 9 years, Burrow's been in the league half of that time. He could retire before Monday night and his career has completely lapped Dak's.

This could be a close game not a shootout as some are predicting. I don't think Dallas wins any shootouts with Rush at QB. 20 points seems to be his limit on offense, and that means the defense would have to contribute some points.

One might expect Burrow to go wild on Dallas with Chase and Higgins, but I think a lot depends on the Cowboys pass rush. If they pressure Burrow they can keep the score down. If not, I think the Bengals can put up a lot of points on Dallas's defense. Looking at what the Bengals just did with Pittsburgh, a team with a much better DL than Dallas, I don't know that Dallas has the horses up front.

If the Bengals get over 20 points, I think they win the game. Rush would need to have the game of his life to keep up with Burrow.

But who knows. It has been a wild NFL season so far.

Burrow and Chase will be the best QB/WR combo we have faced all season. If they get to 30 this thing is over.

The Cowboys are early 6 point underdogs.
Yeah. The cowboys last 2 wins aren't fooling Vegas.

The Bengals defense is terrible. But the cowboys offense has been one of the worst in the league all year.

I fully expect the Bengals offense to put up around 35-40 points. I just don't see how the cowboys offense can keep up.

On the positive side— we will likely have Bland, Law, and Diggs on the field for the first time all year.

Our secondary is getting healthy at the right time— unfortunate about the injury to Butler— but our top 3 CBs can be competitive with Cincy’s weapons.

IMO— this D is designed to play well against aerial offenses like Cincinnati. We struggle against teams that can run the ball and are tough.

I think we win on Monday and the “dream” is alive for a while longer.

I think we beat them. Bengals season was pretty much ended yesterday, their head wont be in the right place
That is very chancy to count on. They might get mean and decide to see who they can hurt for the rest of the season.
Burrows is playing lights out; a career year for him. THAT is the real threat.

I have no idea what to expect from either team. Though the Bengals have been the same all season. Giving games away, or just not good enough. Mostly because their defense is terrible. And the OL not all that great, though they have some injuries. The offense could have a good day with our banged up secondary. So our pass rush best make up for it.

Dallas offense has been not that great all season, rather it was Dak or Cooper at QB. But they move the ball, just bog down in the red zone. But with the Bengals defense, they may get those TD's.

I give a slight edge to .... neither. team ... who screws up the most or less, however you want to put it.

This is a good matchup for us. If we show up prepared we should win easily. I'd say 24 to 10,

I really am starting to think you might need a defense to win in this league. It’s funny how Dak gets the blame for Cowboys loses but Burrow’s (healthy) team is way under .500 and the defense gets the blame. That is comical to me. If Rush out plays Burrow for 2nd time I think the Cincinnati kid should be dropped from all conversations as the best quarterback in football.
If Burrow and the Bengals offense can score 38 points against the Steelers defense I suspect he can move the ball against the Cowboys defense. If you like Rush in a shoot out, against any NFL team, it should be quite a game. I don’t see it.

You guys act like 2 years ago didn’t happen. We held this same Bengals team to under 20 points with no second corner and Rush at quarterback. They even had Mixon then. Give the Cowboys some credit. Geez.

Looks a shoot out. The Bengals DEF is one of the worst in the NFL. A good time to play them
Good luck winning a shootout with our offense even against a weak defense. If Burrow gets hot he can really light it up. We can’t just dink and dunk, we’re going to have to make some big plays down the field. We may have score 30+ to win. We can’t be relying on on our defense and special teams to put up points.

C. BROWN RB- Chase is a very good runner so the Cowboys DL needs to be on point stopping the run.

Bengals pass game vs Dallas strength on defense should be fun. Cowboys need to run the ball effectively and often. Call up Dalvin Cook because needing to run the ball and having Zeke as RB2 is idiotic.

I agree totally, they give these QB's too much credit based off a few good games, then to see them get paid and struggle a lot
The Bengals defense is terrible. Burrow carried the Bengals on his shoulders. Just for the record, Dak Prescott ain't half as good as Joe Burrow. He is top three.
