You guys act like 2 years ago didn’t happen. We held this same Bengals team to under 20 points with no second corner and Rush at quarterback. They even had Mixon then. Give the Cowboys some credit. Geez.
Two years ago means NOTHING
Burrow is having a career year
and we stink
only an idiot would be confident

You know the Cowboys have a better record then Bengals right,
And that means what?
We have an anemic offense unlikely to be able to take advantage of their D
We have a top QB having a career year opposing us.

What part of that do you not understand?

Two years ago compared to yesterday? I think the Bengals will be more like they played yesterday than how they played two years ago next Monday night.

6.5 point underdogs at home against a team with an inferior record. That tell us everything we need to know about the Cowboys this season. I’m not feeling it. I don’t see how the Cowboys keep up.

They have severely neutered defenses in today's NFL. It usually comes down to the refs, and whether they want to allow you to actually hit the offensive players or not. They are trying to take hitting out of the game. No horse collars, no hip drops, can't make contact with the QB below the knees or above the shoulders, can't land on players. KC usually has one of the better defenses and it's painfully obvious how much the refs favor them. It's not a coincidence. That's why most teams just go for the serviceable defense and load up on offense. Try to do just enough to limit the opposing team to field goals.

ok so my choices are, this defense has to shut down a legit offense (have they done that this season? I guess i will take arguments on Wash? Maybe?) or our offense with Rush throwing the ball has to score north of 30....New plan...Turpin you have to score everytime you touch the ball...

Looks a shoot out. The Bengals DEF is one of the worst in the NFL. A good time to play them
We're using a BB gun, so I'm not sure we can win a shootout, even against a bad defense.

Right. League needs to pass a rule that teams have to kick to our kick returner in the field of play. No avoiding him like the Giants did.

I'm holding Jimmy Johnson to his comment:

Jimmy Johnson was dropping wisdom on Cowboys Nation over the holiday weekend.

In the pregame leading up to the Cowboys’ 27-20 win over the Giants, Johnson dropped this after picking the Cowboys to win.

“They won last week, they’re gonna win today,” Johnson said. “Then they’re going to win the next two games.”

I'm not with him. I think we lose this next one because Cincy can score prolifically and we cannot. But we likely beat Carolina.

Yeah, I'm thinking the Cowboys might take a reality check back down to earth in this one.

While the Bengal defense is no juggernaut, I think the Cowboy offense won't be able to match the Bengals scoring and it could still end up leading to a blow out victory for the Bengals.

Who are the players that stand out the most, well duh coog they have Higgins, Burrow, and Chase that could be very problematic for this defense. Is that all to be worried about, or more? Whose on your list for us to be concerned about??? Some will feel that it's US that we need to be concerned about and this struggling offense, I can totally agree!

Our defense has been playing better, but how long will that last? Please give me your thoughts
My thoughts are that these teams are going in opposite directions. Cowboys trending up and getting players back and the Bengals trending down.

I'm just happy this game means something. At least for the Cowboys. There's a real chance that it might have zero meaning for Cincy and they might mail it in. If they do I won't be trying to give back the win come Tuesday morning..

Dallas is not able to force turn overs or score in the Red Zone at all?

We've forced some turnovers, but our red-zone scoring is among the worst in the league.

As bad as the Bengals defense has been they have only given up 1 point more than Dallas this season.
