He walked off the field on his own so hoping for precautionary crutches but this doesn’t sound like a positive outcome.

We can only hope. But walking off on his own power doesn’t guarantee anything. Hardly.

It doesnt but I dont want to jump to conclusions. Ive seen crutches be precautionary multiple times. So lets hope. Hes our second best defensive player.

You can walk with an ACL tear, but they might have given him crutches because of the pain. Fracture is what you normally give crutches for but if it’s patellar tendon you can have an avulsion fracture as well. Just speculating, but hoping for a clean hyperextension with no structural damage.
