Certainly Wade did not do great at those places- but he certainly did not do badly either. Certainly he has done better then Norv did as a HC. So the SLANT of that writer is clear.
People claim BP wore out the team. Maybe that is true. Then why did his OTHER teams do well late in the season? He had not changed his style or way at all. Yet as recently as the JETS only 9 years ago did great late in the season with VINNY as the QB. So blaming him totally for the late season fall is questionable. To me its clear that a lot of factors are involved.
Oh, by the way- in 2004 we finished the season strong and competitive. Last second losses to Phili and Giants kept us to a losing record. BUt we were IN every game of the last 7 to the very end. Kind of shoots down that theory that it was all BP, doesnt it?

So losing is acceptable as long as you don't lose by much? Being IN every game just shows how mediocre we were either in talent and/or coaching.

Parcells did a fantastic job as coach that first year, even though we lost as always down the stretch in Nov & Dec ( but with Quincy and Hambrick as the engine - a heck of a job still ). His teams continually failed afterwards though late in the season even after drafting and bringing in his guys. Parcells just lost his touch in Dallas.
