Murray leads the league in runs over 20 yards.

Yep. I think he'll need at least 2 of those to make 100 yards possible. Gonna be tough because their 2nd level defenders are great tacklers. But Murray has proven to be great at breaking tackles, so we'll see.

I think he gets over 100 but lower YPC than previous games.

Seattle will be all over Murray looking to strip the ball after he has already placed it on the turf in every game so far except one. Jimmy used to love facing rb's that placed the ball on the turf such as the Buffalo and the 49'er rb's back in the day. Sometimes u can break one when everyone is grabbing at the ball. Will be a tough matchup no doubt. Wilson is gonna be hard to stop as well.

I agree that it will not be easy. As long as Cowboys remain committed to a balanced attack, Murray has an excellent chance to stand side by side with Jim Brown as the only RBs ever to start the season with 6 straight games of 100 or more rushing.

Patience by Cowboys, and turnovers, will be key.

Here are the next 11 defenses Murray will face, along with the number of 100-yard rushers each team has allowed since the start of the 2013 season:

@Sea 4
NYG 2
Was 4
Ari 1
vs Jac (Lon) 2
@NYG 2
Phi 2
@Chi 11
@Phi 2
Ind 5
@Was 4

It's worth noting that the Titans and 49ers combined only allowed a 100-yard rusher 3 times in their other 40 games since the start of 2013.

And on the other side of the coin, the Seahawks have faced the following rush offenses:

Green Bay #25 – W
@ San Diego #27 – L
Denver #29 – W
@ Washington #21 – W

The Cowboys have best rushing offense in the league.

Not a chance. This is Dez's game and Dez's chance to step up and write his own contract vs. Sherman. 1 on 1 and I expect that the whole game.

Regardless of whether Murray gets 100 yards or not, this might be the perfect week for Linehan to break out some different looks to throw this Seattle defense off. I'm not saying turn the whole offense upside down or anything, but let's maybe see a few more targets for Dunbar, Escobar, Harris, maybe Beasley. Throw a few more wrinkles out there, see what happens.

I say no. Only because I believe we attempt to match their speed with Randle and maybe even Dunbar. I see a 20 rushes, 68 yrds, 1 TD, 0 fumbles.

Let's stop talking about what the Seattle Seahwks did and start talking about what we can do.

Seattle likes playing a cover 3. Good luck stopping our running game while dropping your linebackers into coverage and have fun looking up to see Fredrick and Martin running at you in the 2nd level.

Good point! I'd. Throw Beasley and Harris on Sherman's side and run a bunch of curls. I'd line up a slot receiver on that side as well to keep their LB-CB from covering underneath the curl and force that player to focus on the slot receiver.

I'd say less, They will dare us to beat them through the air... also if we fall behind Murray won't get the same amount of work he has been getting.

Hopefully, he runs for 80... we win... and he signs that 4-year deal that's on the table... another 100 yard game might add another million per year...:)
Trying to keep under budget for Dez and Ro.

I thought the Rams would load up the box on Murray to stop him and predicted he would only get about 75 yards, and that was way wrong. The Seattle D is better than the Rams, but I think the Hawks will slow him down a bit early on, then as the game progresses he'll get going and go over a hundred. We need to get the safeties leaning forward to win this game, IMO, so we will run the ball. Plus, that's who we are now.
