Looking at what those other starting RBs have done against them this season scares me... nobody over 34 yards?? I think he barely gets it but he could easily end up with only 50 or so yards

No one over 14 carries either, you need to keep running the ball.

Here are the next 11 defenses Murray will face, along with the number of 100-yard rushers each team has allowed since the start of the 2013 season:

@Sea 4
NYG 2
Was 4
Ari 1
vs Jac (Lon) 2
@NYG 2
Phi 2
@Chi 11
@Phi 2
Ind 5
@Was 4

It's worth noting that the Titans and 49ers combined only allowed a 100-yard rusher 3 times in their other 40 games since the start of 2013.
Any context as to what's the league average in that span? I'd guess that 100 yard games are just much more rare these days.

For more context to the OP's point, Eddie Lacy, Ryan Matthews and Montee Ball have only two games combined with more than 50 yards rushing this year. And Alfred Morris is averaging only 69 yards per game with no 100 yard games to date.

I sure hope he goes over 100, but I have my doubts.

Seattle is an example of a team that places value on huge DT's in the middle of the field to stuff the inside run.

And personally, I much prefer their strategy to Marinelli's under-sized 'rushmen'. Give me one or more huge bodies in the middle and essentially tell opposing offenses that they're not running here.

Seattle's rushing defense is number one in the league, holding opponents to less than 63 rushing yards per game. During their first four games, the Seahawks have held Eddie Lacy (34 yards on 12 carries), Ryan Mathews (31 yards on 11 carries), Montee Ball (38 yards on 14 carries) and Alfred Morris (29 yards on 13 carries) to 2.8 yards a carry or less. Can DeMarco Murray break the century mark in rushing yards versus Seattle and become the NFL's first running back in history to rush for more than 100 yards in the first six games of a season--surpassing Jim Brown and O.J. Simpson?

Our offensive line is better than all of those.

That being said, I think Murray rushes for around 80 yards.

I think the Seattle D will take great pride in stopping Murray from running for 100 yds.

They would probably rather Romo throw for 500 yds and 4 TD's than let Murray run for over 100 on them. LOL

Myself, I think that the Dallas offense matches up solidly against the Seattle defense. I don't want or expect any favors here. Although there are point of weakness in the makeup of the offense, I don't think that from the start, either Seattle's offense or defensive front will exploit the weaknesses.

I'm thinking that the determination of game directions, will be mistakes by either side, and most important for Dallas, is not to commit any turn-overs. Change the scoreboard, and that most directly would alter the running game...not potential.

I think Murray gets around 100. I think he may do more damage catching passes in this game.

The good news fellas is that this is the best run defense we will play all season so this will really be a measuring stick to see how good our offensive line really is.

If we can run the ball on Seattle, we can run the ball on anybody.

Honestly I wouldn't bet on it. I think he ends up somewhere in the 60's - 70's.

If everyone stays healthy, I think he can do it. We need to stay committed to the run in this environment.

I think our O-line enables the running game to work against any current NFL D. Murray will get another 100 yard game vs the seahags.

I'd like to think he's going to get it but this is a very tough defense. A lot of that will depend on not only staying committed to it, which I believe the team has shown that it absolutely will, but we have to protect the ball and stay in the game. If we make mistakes and let them get out to a 10 or 14 point lead I'm afraid the team might panick, against their great defense, and start trying to press things.

I think he can get 100 yards but only with 30 carries and a good lead in the 4th.
