Twitter: Must-see TV: Dez Bryant vs Vontae Davis

Davis got injured at the start of that Pitt game, but yeah their pass defense is definitely overrated due to playing in the AFC South

The Cowboys actually have an easier strength of schedule. I think we have the second easiest schedule in the league. The key difference is that we have beat the Seahawks and Eagles in their own house. That's two quality wins against good teams.

Indy has gotten murdered anytime they play a team that has a competent QB or a decent team. Their absolute best win on the season is the Cincinnati Bengals.

Let's hope this game turns out better than the Cardinals' one, both in terms of this individual matchup and the overall score.

Having a QB who can deliver the ball properly will make a huge difference.

I just want the W, dont even care how lol. I honestly think the skins beat the eagles and we clinch next week.

I meant their passing stats, playing 6 times vs those QBs in the afc south definitely overrate your stats.

Don't attempt those curl routes we poorly execute on his side.

Exactly, whatever you do, don't throw late on a curl. Aggressive DB's like Davis love jumping those kind of routes. Kind of a random stat, but I remember reading somewhere that Janoris Jenkins jumps curl routes more than 60% of the time (the highest percentage since Asante Samuel).

Oh yeah, I wasn't disagreeing with you at all. The Colts have feasted off of a cupcake schedule with no solid wins. I guess you can say they beat everyone they were supposed to while we were felled by Washington and San Fran, but we have far better wins in our name as well.

He does. That's a big reason why I wanted us to sign him (Samuel) to a one yr deal. I'd rather see a DB that jumps routes vs the escort service when a DB allows every pass to be caught playing soft.

Is Davis better than Sherman?

They are both high quality players who I would be very happy to have playing for the Cowboys. I, however, really like Dez Bryant matched up here. If not Dez, it's time for Williams to step back up.

Ahem, Carr...

Athletically i think there are some things Davis is able to do better than Sherman. But no DB is better than Sherman when he's in his comfort zone within Seattle's scheme. JMO.

Ok... I understand Davis is very athletic. My point is Dez really took it to Sherman with his quickness size and strength. Davis is an interesting match up.

Teams are too busy running down the Colts throats to worry to much about what Vontae is or isn't doing.

I actually want the Colts to double Dez and leave the middle of the field open for Witten and Beasley.

Ugh, Weeden played that game. Dez had no chance. No one had a snowball's chance in hell really.

I love me some Dez but he dropped a TD pass that him him right in the chest during that game, also.

That's fine. Let them stop Dez. We'll just throw to our WR2... Uhh... Wait, what's his name again?

I can think of two corners that legitimately shut Dez down. Peterson each time they played. And Revis when we played the Jets. Actually he embarrassed Dez badly. But he's a better player now. Sherman did ok....

Besides that everyone else has been toast 1 vs 1 against Dez.
