Ok It wont happen, but this is really a good time to pull a JJ89 !!
What is that ? that is what jimmy did in 89 go 1-15 and get the top pick in each round.
Just rest romo and dez, and wait for next year.
However if I did it I would want to pick # 1, and that would not be easy.
We already have 2 wins ! darn it !!

And 5 other teams doing the JJ89 have only 1 win, so we are a game ahead of them and we would have to hope they win at least 1 more game
and preferably 2 more games.

now here is the bad news , 11 other teams have only 2 wins !!!!!!!!
Wow are they JJ89'ing too?? Tampa is one of them, I guess they want another top pick in 2016.
That is 16 teams counting us with 2 or 1 win!! that is half the nfl teams! The bottom half LOL
So since we are in that group, expecting to go to the SB is a bit over the top isnt it?
We might make playoffs, and anything is possible, but still unlikely.

So one thing we could do is lose every remaining game, I think we can do that no problem!

Thing is most think about the having first pick in first round, but it is EVERY round! so really it is a good deal.
We know what 8-8 or 9-7 gets us in the draft, not much.

But I know how jerry and jg think and they will fight to get in playoffs till mathematically eliminated.
They will even try to start dez or romo too soon in that effort, even though they no longer are good enough to beat
the best nfc teams , and I see GB winning the nfc this year.

After last year they want it bad and have the team to do it.
The way they are going now, means all roads will go thru GB this year.

I think this game is pretty much a must win. Not for the record, a loss does not put us out of reach to win the division or the playoffs. However, I don't know that mentally this team or any team can fully recover from a 4 game losing streak. Especially when you consider the changes the team made in the bye week to spark the team. This team needs to win and win bad. If we win this game, I can see the confidence leading to another win or two before Romo returns. If we lose, don't think we will a game until Tony is back, and by then it will be to late.

This is as MUST WIN game as they will get without Romo at the helm...if they fall to 2-4 this season could be in the tanks.... historical odds of making the playoffs drop to 1-in-14.... only six teams in the last 13 years made the playoffs after starting 2-4. Then add to the fact, they have Seattle and Philly coming to town.... the NYG know they can practically knock a division rival out of the playoff hunt with a win.

A 2-4 Cowboys team facing the Seahawks, and Eagles.....is not a path to the playoffs.....Make no bones about it....this is a MUST WIN game for the Cowboys.

fyi, Seattle is not that good this year but I see what you mean

I hate to say that a game in week 7 is a must win but it sure feels like it. The big thing on the line is we would own the tie breaker on the Gints if we are tied at seasons end. That could be huge.

Agreed Big Dog....................this game is huge, if for nothing else than the psyche of the team. They need to show that they can win a game without Romo.

Besides, at 2-4 the season is dangerously starting to slip away. Specifically, what I mean is that even if we make a run when we get Romo back, we are going to be sitting at that 9 or 10 win range and that is when tiebreaks and overall conference records start looming large. And if anybody doesn't think that stuff is important, just keep in mind that we lost homefield last season from losing a 3-way tiebreak.

Also, you don't want to be 2-4 with Seattle on deck.

Good outlook! I don't have the same mentality. I get enraged, upset, annoyed, panicked, ( insert any negative emotion) when we lose one game. It's a disease I want the Cowboys to win every freaking game, and here's the twisted part. I either want them to blow the opponent out like by 21 pts or more, shut them out- goose egg for the opposition, or steal the win with the last couple seconds - break their hearts.

In summary I want them to demoralize with a blowout, demoralize with a shut out, or heart break w last moment td, and after a Cowboys win I flip the chanels in hopes of seeing a bunch of media types eat crow. So delicious
